Ice Queen

For no reason at all I made a map centered on the southern ice cap, home of the Ice Queen, Nire, an evil goddess of cold and pain. The green area of land just below the Palace of the Ice Queen is inhabitated by the Southmen, a norse-like culture. The Korgani are neanderthal-like sub humans. The cities on the map I have no idea about yet, any suggestions would be appreciated. Beneath Nire's palace are ancient tunnels into the mountains leading to the goblin tribes that revere the Ice Queen.

Southman (human sub-race)

Warrior society (viking-like culture) - each chief uses the title king, wooden pallisades around longhouses.
Raid and trade for most food and other goods, occasionally hire out as mercenaries and those not chosen for raiding parties engage in whaling in the spring.
Males are warriors and form raiding/trading parties in the spring and return when successful or in the fall, if too far away they will build a winter camp. They pay tribute to the Ice Queen in the form of all those born from their concubines. These children given as tribute are raised as monks in the Ice Queens frozen halls.

8% are fighters and form the upper class
2% are rangers or barbarians (also in the upper class)
20% are nobles (wives and daughters of the upper class)
20% are warriors (many also have secondary jobs; ship wrights, armor & weapon smiths, foresters, hunters, etc)
40% are commoners and experts (females of the tribe; warriors wives and daughters, second wives to upper class, healers, leather workers, furriers, etc)
2% other (adepts, druids, clerics of the Ice Queen, bards, rogues)
8% are slaves (concubines taken during raids)

Those of pure southman blood take 2 less points of damage from normal and magical cold, males are particularly hardy and receive a plus one to constitution. Females are slightly smaller (5' on average) than typical humans and receive a minus one to strength, they are also tend to be very attractive and persuasive and get a plus one to charisma. Males do not receive the standard human bonus skill points at first level (but do get the +1 for levels past 1st).

Korgani

They resemble primitive humans and have black hair, yellow eyes with slit pupils and long low heads with massive brow ridges and thick, heavy, bones. They are short and stocky and average around 5' and 150 lbs.

They dwell in cold forested hills and high mountain valleys in caves, hide tents or houses built on stilts in lakes. They worship the Earth Mother and her sons Wind, Snow and Rain as well as Ancestor and Animal Spirits. They fish and forage in the warmer months and hunt large game in the winter with flint tipped spears, stone knives and axes. Their up close and personal hunting methods has made them tough and skilled in dodging (as well as keeping the population down).

Korgani have a limited empathy among their own kind and can convey basic emotions to other members of the tribe within a one mile radius. Korgani who are not part of a tribe for a month or more lose this ability forever as well as their wisdom bonus.

Korgani are a shy race and avoid others, giants and winter wolves are their main enemies and the Korgani have worked with other races in the past to battle these enemies. They are on good terms with giant snow owls who they beleive carry the souls of the dead to the afterlife.
