Kain was bitten by Zolsix at the age of 25, 113 years ago. After that, he lost his beloved wife Elation, which was also bitten and kidnapped by Zolsix. Loving her more than his own life, he desperately sold his soul to a demon who promised him more power so he could defeat Zolsix. After he killed him, he realised Elation's memory was erased and since she didn't recognize him anymore, he decided to let her go and to watch over her, hoping that maybe someday he would get her back.
