The group recommended:
1. The need for sensitization
of members and public through public education, such as:
• public lectures ( a series)
• Jamaica Reparations Movement
• Jamaica Baptist Union
• Reggae artists
• Radio discussions
2.The examination of existing channels for lobbying Government
3. Writing proposals for funding for projects that need financial assistance
4. Build a funding base for JaRM as a NGO, with institutional structure.
5. Raise JaRM membership subscriptions to $500 each.
6. Use music as a form of sensitization.
7. Create a Proposal for a JaRM Project i.e. Repatriation of Jamaican documents and artifacts, along with necessary structure.
8. Creation of a facility within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with government support, to facilitate a Secretariat that deals with Jamaica Reparations.
9. Creation of a Plan of Action
10. Creation
of a document that educates the public about main question:
“What is Reparations”.
