Explaining Love...
What is love,
I asked one day,
And to my surprise,
I heard you say,
It's a feeling,
Like no other you see,
And its like a feeling,
That can set your sprit free,
Of love you said,
You are as happy
as you could be,
You think of that person,
And there as close to you as they could be,
And you never forget the important things,
Like there smile hug or so sweet kiss,
And when there gone,
It's an unbelievable miss,
I didn't know such a feeling exist, Till I had met you, For you said you loved me,
Well guess what, I love you too.

Love isn't...... Love isn't a dream, it's not a mistake. I know this is real because I can see the love in your eyes and they're looking at me .
Love is .... Love is the way you make someone feel. The way someone makes you feel. Love is sharing and caring. The want and the need....
Love is not just a word; Love is a power with unknown strengths It has the power to make someone smile To make someone laugh...to make someone love you in return
Love is what your heart feels What your heart says Ignore your heart and it will fade away
Listen to your heart...follow your heart, let it sing Let it run free and it can bring you anything
Love is a bond A way to keep people together Love is everything wonderful Love is...You.

ALIEN: So this thing you call "love"... did you learn it in college?

HUMAN: Of course not! We all learn about love from our parents.

ALIEN: Ah, so all parents are highly-trained experts in the art of loving their children? What are the qualifications for becoming a parent?

HUMAN: Uh, well no. Anybody can become a parent. There are no qualifications. (embarrassed silence) But wait! We also learn about love from our culture as a whole. Yeah, culture fills-in the missing pieces.

ALIEN: Culture? You mean like television? Please explain how your most popular shows set a good example. For instance, The Simpson's or Rosanne or Married with Children.

HUMAN: Never mind... WAIT!--Books! Yeah! We learn about love from books, I mean like great literature and stuff. Like Shakespeare.

ALIEN: I am accessing Romeo and Juliet on my computer.(3 second pause) So love is about being infatuated with someone you have met only once...murdering some of your future in-laws...and committing suicide over some miscommunication.

HUMAN: Aaaaaauuuuuuugh!

ROMANCE itself--being the expression of Love--is, in fact, a celebration. Romance is not a chore, a responsibility or something imposed on you from outside. Romance is a celebration of the life you live as part of a couple. It springs naturally and joy fully from the inside of you...if you will give it access to your creative energies..... Romance is the appreciation of two people who are celebrating the lucky coincidence that they found each other.

LOVE is subtle, and therefore often overlooked. Love is quiet, and therefore is sometimes lost amid the noise. Love is gentle, and therefore thought to lack strength. But love powers the universe and every heart in it. LOVE is the most powerful force in your life. This is not a theory. It is not just a religious platitude. Love is empowering. It can change your mind set, your outlook on life, your self-esteem and confidence. It can and does affect every aspect of your life.
