The scent of lavender filled Stacy’s nose as she poured a generous amount of bubble bath into the running water. She scanned the room once more making sure
she had everything she needed. Candles? Check. Raspberry flavored iced tea? Check. Cordless phone? Check. CD player? Check. Craig David? Craig David? Ah!
Where was he? She couldn’t do this without Craig. Her eyes caught the hint of a sparkle as she frantically searched the room. Sure enough, hidden underneath
her towels, was the jewel case. CD? Double check. She planned on enjoying her "quiet time" and didn’t want to have to go fetch anything later. Now she was set.
She quickly undressed and padded over to the bathtub. Letting a small sigh escape from her lips she slipped gently into the steaming water. Immediately she felt
the tension in her body start to ease away. Leaning over the tub she grabbed her CD player, headphones and Craig. Settling back she got her music ready and
placed the headphones on her head. "Ah. Now this is heaven", she whispered as she soaked a washcloth, wrung it out and placed it over her eyes. Placing her
arms on the side of the tub she enjoyed the sensations coursing through her body.
Shifting in the bathtub Stacy came back to reality and realized she must have dozed off. The smooth sounds of Craig David were no longer emanating from her
headphones and the water had taken on a tepid feel. Groaning inwardly she came to the conclusion that her little siesta was coming to a close. And all too
quickly she might add. Before she could raise her hand to remove the now cold washcloth from her eyes she felt something on her arm. The caress of soft, feather
light touches. From wrist to shoulder the sensations traveled back and forth sending chills throughout her body. Oh God, she wasn’t alone. Fingertips. They were
definitely fingertips. But whose, she questioned inwardly. Her heart started beating faster. Her mind was racing. Before she could think to move or cover herself
she sensed them move closer. A slight rustling of clothing and they were just mere inches away. She could feel their breath against her cheek as they leaned into
her. What should she do? Panic rising she finally found the strength to reach for the washcloth at the same time lips found their way closer to her ear. She froze.
Hot breath gently caressed her skin as she heard the softest, sweetest voice whisper to her, "You look absolutely beautiful." A warm blush flew across her body
and she started to tremble. It was HIM. The man who played the star role in all of her dreams. The only man who could actually make her melt. The man who set
her heart soaring and yet somehow managed to make her knees buckle at the same time. HE was here. Next to her. Touching her. Whispering the sweetest
words she had ever heard to her. Slowly
snaking the washcloth away, she turned her head and was met by the most startling clear blue eyes she had ever seen. It was HIM. Brian.
Stacy couldn’t move. Mesmerized by the mere site of him she tried to drink everything in at once. He had pulled back when she made the move to remove the
washcloth and was now sitting back on his haunches. He was breathtaking. She let her eyes roam over him and couldn’t help herself as a small gasp escaped
her lips. He was wearing a blue denim button up shirt and khaki pants. His hair was a mixture of bleached blond and natural brown. Just long enough to curl at the
nape of his neck, it seemed to beg for her fingers to run thru it. His face was framed with a strong, chiseled jaw that was accentuated with just a touch of a scruffy
beard. A smile, with just a hint of mischievousness, played across his lips. Those lips. They seemed to be screaming to her, "Take me!" and she had to force
herself to keep control.
Shaking naughty visions of what she wanted to be doing to his bottom lip out of her mind, she reluctantly let her eyes wander back up to
his. They twinkled in the candlelight and Stacy found herself once again lost in their depths. Her mind was spinning. Her breathing grew shallow and rapid. She felt
lightheaded and was thankful she was sitting down for her knees surely would have given out by now. He slowly leaned into her again and she felt her breath catch
in her throat. She closed her eyes waiting in anticipation of what was to
come next. Just as he had done before, his lips just barely touching her ear, he repeated his earlier statement. "You look absolutely beautiful." Again it was
spoken in a hush with just a hint of huskiness. She shivered, feeling every part of her body come alive. He was close. So close. Her senses went into overdrive. All
she could manage was a slight nod of the head. She couldn’t find the words she needed to say. It was as if she had forgotten how to speak. Her mind was devoid
of any thoughts but him and how close he was. She realized now that he had stopped tracing lines on her arm and she found herself aching for his touch again.
As if he had read her mind, he gently cupped her cheek and rubbed his thumb over her smooth skin. Startled by his touch, her eyes fluttered open and without
thinking, she found herself reacting to him. She nudged her check further into his palm silently asking for more. He brought his other hand up to her face and
gently cupped the other cheek forcing her to look into the deep blueness of his eyes. With their eyes locked onto each other he ever so slowly started inching his
face towards hers. With barely an inch between them Stacy unconsciously licked her bottom lip and drew Brian’s gaze to them. She heard a small moan from the
back of his throat and almost lost control.
Finally realizing that she had arms and she could move she reached for him and held on to him with all of her might. His
eyes flashed up to hers questioningly. There was no doubt in her mind that she wanted him to kiss her. Badly. She wanted to taste him. All of him. Again, she
found herself with no voice. Needing to convey her feelings to him she did the only thing she could. She nodded her head with approval. They gazed longingly into
each other’s eyes for what seemed like an eternity. Beginning to think she couldn’t stand it much longer, Brian finally closed the gap between them and brushed
his lips softly to hers. It was just a small kiss but one that left her wanting more. He pulled back slightly and she moaned. Then, without warning, his lips came
crashing back down onto hers. A slight tingling had started to move throughout her body. He slowly ran his tongue across her bottom lip seeking entry and was
pleased when her lips parted granting him access to her sweet mouth. Their tongues dueled with a fiery passion that neither had ever felt before. In the back of her
mind she heard a ringing noise but pushed it away, content on concentrating on the man before her. Brian pulled her closer to him and she wrapped her arms
around his neck where she quickly wove her fingers through his curls. The kiss seemed to last an eternity. He moaned and she thought she would pass out from
just the sound. It fueled her on. Groping with their mouths until each thought they couldn’t take anymore.
The kiss was intense and rocked each of them to their
cores. She had never been kissed like this before and she was loving it. The room was spinning and everything forgotten except him, her and how he was driving
her absolutely wild. As they finally parted and came up for air she uttered her first words, "Wow." Brian let out a small chuckle and placed tender little kisses on
her cheeks and nose. She inhaled deeply savoring his scent. Arms still encircled about his neck she pulled him back in for another mind-blowing kiss. Fireworks
exploded and she felt as if she were floating in heaven. She never wanted this to end. Again, the ringing noise threatened to bring her back to her senses. Pushing
herself further into his arms she deepened the kiss. Brian responded and slowly started to explore more of her body with his hands. Creeping ever downward his
fingers didn’t hesitate to dip beneath the water to caress her lower back. She arched into his touch and moaned into his mouth. Brian tore his lips away from hers
and trailed them down her chin and into the crevice of her neck. More ringing. Was that a phone? She couldn’t be sure. She couldn’t focus on anything except him
and what he was doing to her body. His hands and lips were everywhere. Touching. Caressing. Pleasuring. Never stopping. Her whole body was electrified. All she
could do was hold tightly to his shirt and enjoy the ride. He was doing things to her that caused her mind to fuzz. Did he just murmur her name? His lips
interrupted her thoughts as they returned to hers once again. Their tongues exploring the depths of each other’s mouths. Reluctantly she pulled away and tried to
catch her breath. She couldn’t get enough of him. She closed her eyes and tried to breath deeply and get a hold of herself. She couldn’t believe the effect he was
having on her physically and emotionally. Again she thought she heard her name. There! That was definitely her name. He was calling to her. She needed to
compose herself. Regain control of her senses. She knew that if she looked at him right now there would be no turning back. Again she heard her name. It was
now or never.
Stacy slowly opened her eyes. The room was empty. Brian was gone. Yet she could still hear her name being called. Realizing that someone was at the door,
she jumped out of the tub and went to answer it. Wrapping a towel around her body she slowly opened the door, peeking thru hoping to see Brian on the other
side. "It’s about time. I’ve been calling you forever. Didn’t you hear the phone?" It was her sister Michelle. "I, uh…is uh…is anyone here?" she sputtered. Michelle
looked at her quizzically. "What? Did you hear me? The phone is for you." Stacy was stunned. Could she have dreamt it all? How could that be? Everything felt so
real. He felt so real. "Are you okay?" Michelle asked as she waved her hand in front of Stacy’s face. With a far off look in her eyes she answered. "Huh? Oh.
Yeah. Are you sure no one is here?" she asked again with a slight pleading to her voice. Hoping that Michelle was "in on" the little game that Brian surely had to
be playing she was waiting for the grin to creep up on her sisters face. Michelle could never keep a secret. But as she searched her eyes she realized there was
no game. No Brian hiding behind the door waiting for the perfect moment to come out and yell, "Surprise!" He wasn’t there. He was never there. "Nope. No one but
you and me. I’ll just take a message for you." Stacy let out a sigh she didn’t know she was holding and mechanically nodded her head. Michelle turned to leave
and Stacy closed the door. Leaning up against the warm wood she closed her eyes and pictured Brian. "Damn! That was so real," she whispered to herself. With
a mischievous grin forming on her mouth Stacy raced to the tub and started a fresh tub of hot bath water. "Let’s see how far we get this time!"
