| Description: | Derry has dark brown hair, almost black, worn just long enough to pull into a thin tail at the nape of his neck. His eyes are a bright blue. He is rather lightly built. He is usually seen wearing an easy grin.
His clothes tend toward colonial styles. The buckled shoes are worn even when he's trying to fit in with his Boston neighbors and wearing muggle shorts. His tricorner hat, also, rarely leaves his head except to sleep and play Quidditch. When in class, he will, at moments of neccessity, wear a pair of wire-rimmed spectacles to help him see the board, though they would disappear the moment he finished copying the words written there. |
| Personality: | Derry's a generally friendly sort, though he isn't afraid to step into a conflict if he thinks someone needs his help.
Derry has finally gotten on the cluebus about relationships and went from complete obliviousness to dating as soon as the notion occurred to him. As he's had a giant crush on Gabriella Abbott since the day they met, he didn't hesitate to ask her to marry him once they were graduated. He proposed exactly 7 years to the minute after they met. Their wedding is planned for late next summer. He takes Quidditch very seriously. Talking to, apologizing to, or helping the other team in any way is completely anathema to him during the game. He considers injuries and foul moves as a normal course of play, and has no qualms against inflicting or committing them. |
| Interpersonal Relations: |
Amelia: Prior to their disownment, they were merely close cousins who talked about Quidditch and secretly discussed muggle things. Amelia fed his curiosity about them, telling him stories and even sneaking him off to Boston once. Together, they had conspired, as a challege for themselves, to get their Seeker, Belinda, to stop hating muggles. Since being disowned, their relationship hasn't greatly changed.
Bel: As close to a baby sister as he'll ever get. He remains one of the few people who she hasn't ever challenged to a duel. She scares him sometimes, but he loves her dearly anyway. People formerly known as Mother and Father: While he tries not to think about it, he does miss his parents and felt more than a little upset when he heard they were replacing him with Derwent Pierce the Fourth. At school, he gets along well with most people. His closest friends are the Gremlins and Gabriella. He has a mutual dislike for Ellie Santavaj. Rowenna doesn't like him, but he has no problem with her. Hecate is the Gremlin's rival group. Danielle Holland also does not like the Gremlins. |
