Iodine Saturation Spectroscopy

The Experimental Setup
The difference signal and the etalon transmission were simultaneously
detected, thus resulting in a frequency calibrated iodine spectrum.
Using well known lines in B-X system of iodine (127) we
determined the absolute frequencies of about 140 new hyperfine components
with an accuracy of 2MHz.

One scan over two iodine lines:
P12(16-1) - Reference line
R17(16-1) - Calibrated line
The "t" components are denoted by *.
Here you can view the callibrated "t" components of the hyperfine structure in BX system of iodine for J=9..140 in (18-1)..(13-1) bands.
