Sphinx

Sphinx was the first cat that Ceej and I ever had on our own. We got him when he was a skittish, five-month-old ball of fur. We'd wanted to get a black, female cat, but one day, while at the store, we saw an adorable picture of a white, male kitty hiding under a curtain and just couldn't say no. His previous owners had Chihuahuas who liked to sneak up on him and, since he was deaf, they kept scaring the poor guy out of his wits. So we gave him a new home.

Sphinx wasn't in our lives for too long: his health was never so great to begin with, and died within 48 hours of going blind. We miss our little buddy, and we're very glad for the time we all had together.
