Take the salvation that Jesus paid the price for
and put that helmet on - to protect your mind,
Jesus came to give that to you, take it!
Take the breastplate of righteousness - not your righteousness,
God calls that filthy rags, but Jesus's righteousness.
It will cover your heart
Take it, it is yours, Jesus paid for it.
Bind about your loins - Truth,
not the truth about you, but the truth of God,
what he wants to do with you, the plans he has for your life.
He wants your life to be fruitful,
his Truth guards your fruitfulness.
Take it, Jesus paid for it, it is yours.
For your feet,
God has prepared the good news of peace for you to walk in.
The good news that there is Peace in Jesus,
Peace for your soul, Peace with God,
Peace to take with you - where ever you go.
It is yours - Take it!
You need to grab ahold of the shield of faith or trust.
It's there, you need to reach for it,
with the trust you have in God, no matter how small.
It will be a shield, hold it up against the enemy's fiery darts,
his words aimed at you heart and soul.
It may be small but it is strong.
Jesus takes your measure of faith and adds his might
Take it, use it.
And with your other hand you need to use the sword of the Spirit,
the Word of God.
Even if it is "Jesus loves me this I know"
It is a word of God for you, simple and child like it may be
but that child-like faith can work miracles.
Ask Him for another "word" for you to use.
Use it to cut the cords of failure,
and the other cords that the enemy has you bound with.
Jesus loves you this I know,
JESUS loves you this I know,
Jesus LOVES you this I know,
Jesus loves YOU this I know,
Jesus loves you THIS I KNOW.......... because He paid the price....
Take the armor God wants you to use it.
