flood (part 1)
[ absorbing ]

looking up
with the rain pouring in
the tears in your eyes
the water at your feet

wet, wet, soaking through
flooding is imminent
get out, they cry
looking around, the only light

up

to escape the source
you climb towards it
confronting it
absorbing it

the climb is difficult
dirt is damp
more sodden you climb
slowly people below

...they disappear...

throwing your leg over
you realise where you are

maybe this is where you wanted to go
all along
but you needed this to realise it

maybe those people aren't true
maybe He wants more of you
but you needed this to realise it

flood you out of your comfort zone

so now you are out, wet and free

>where are you, My child?<
