• You must have an adult male and an adult female of the same species.
  • You may bring two puppies or kittens out together to play and this will help them fall in love when they are adults
  • You can check to see the age of your pet under the petz profile
  • You can check the sex of your pet in the petz profile
  • A dog will not fall in love with a cat, but may fall in love with a different breed of dog (ie. a dalmation and a mutt)
• Your petz should be well fed (see feeding tipz)
• Turn your screen saver off
• You will need to prepare the living room before bringing your dogz out
• The living room should be free of toys and distractions
• If you have Catz3 you will need to close the mouse holes
• You will need the bottle of perfume.
  • Place it on the floor
• You should have the box of heart shaped treats available on the supply case shelf
  • Scatter several heart treatz around the room
• You will need the music box
  • Put it on the mantle
  • Move all the songz that are not love songz out of the songz folder and into a temporary folder
• Turn on the fireplace and close the window.
• You might want to pick some roses or other flowers to put on the mantle
• You can also have pictures on the wall
• You can place one or two heart shaped pillows in the room.
• Bring the couple out in another room to meet.
• After they have met go to the living room
• As the dogz gather up the treatz spray them each with perfume (once or twice only).
• Turn on the music box
• Lock the red pet door
• then LEAVE THEM ALONE
  • If they start fighting
    • spray them with the perfume
    • scatter more treatz
    • turn the music back on.
  • Do not take pictures, play with them or pet them
    • this will distract them from each other.
    • if you want pictures take them after they have announced the arrival of thier puppy
  • If they start howling
    • Pet them each extensively
    • Turn the music back on

• You petz will watch each other alot
• They may show off for each other
• They will sleep together
• They will play together
• They will be sad when the other is not there

• if you are still not sure your pet is in love
  • Put one of the petz away
  • After a few seconds bring it back out
  • Repeat with the other pet
  • If your pet looks like one of the below then it is in love

• Have you given them some time alone?
• Don't keep bothering them!
• Maybe they are distracted
  • Move them to the playpen
  • Put up the red hots or cupid background
  • Remove all toys
  • Leave the perfume bottle
• Give them a few days
• If they are still fighting then perhaps they just weren't meant to be a couple.
