Welcome To The World Of Ian

Island Trip

Today I went to a different island. I don't know what the name of it is. But I will check with Mario, he had to record it in his SCUBA log book as he is taking some type of diving licence. So I'll eventually update the name of this page. There are a lot of pictures so I won't try to write a line for each one. It was an uninhabited island very close to the first one I went to. On the way we stopped and did some fishing for dinner. We were catching two different types of fish, one was small barracuda and I don't know what the other one was. So after that we finished the trip over to the island. It was a small beach lined by driftwood. There were about four other people on the beach when we got there. We all went swimming, Mario did his SCUBA diving and I also did some snorkelling. The driver (I won't say Captain) and his daughter cooked all the fish for our dinner. They did, grilled fish, battered fillets of fish, soup, boiled rice, followed by fresh pineapple. Pineapple tastes different here because it's fresh. When I normally eat pineapple it comes out of a tin dripping in syrup. Tastes lovely fresh. We finished the afternoon off with some sun bathing and came back to Pattaya. Liverpool against Newcastle Utd is on telly later so I'll definitely watch that. Enjoy the pictures.....
