ROSS TO THE RESCUE

While taking Ross (the dog) for a morning walk on Wednesday
29 March, he found a badly injured woman, who had fallen down a
30 metre cliff near Green Bay beach in west Auckland.
Ross is very inquisitive and appears to have heard the woman's cries
of "help me"  in her attempt to alert two fishermen in their dinghy, about
100 metres away.

Ross doesn't know what all the fuss is about.
The injured woman and the firemen are on the middle left side of picture.

The woman had fallen down the cliff on the afternoon of the previous day.
She had lain on a ledge just above the high tide mark, for about 18 hours
before Ross found her.
They said he may have saved the woman's life!
