The Institute awards about 30 scholarships to meritorious students and a few stipends to financially handicapped ones. The Institute has a Research and Scholarship Fund, which offers one scholarship from its interest earnings.

There is a Professor M. Safiullah Scholarship for the student who scores the highest mark in admission Test. Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation offers three stipends and Bangladesh Shilpa Bank offers two scholarships.

Other scholarships include: (1) Late Nazir Ahmed Memorial Scholarship, (2) Late Professor Dr. Alimur Rahman Scholarship (3) Shamsul Alam Memorial Scholarship (4) A. F. Mujibur Rahman Foundation Scholarship and (6) Youngone Scholarship.

The University of Dhaka awards a number of merit scholarships to the students of second year BBA students on the basis of their performance in the first year class.
