Hi,

I'm seeking information rather than providing you with it as you requested.

I was at the Hanke Mission in Southern Rhodesian over Christmas 1979, with the British Army as part of the Ceasefire Monitoring Group (Hanke Mission was chosen as one of the rendezvous points for the guerillas.

Unfortunately, the place was deserted and there were graves there that hadn't been there too long. Some damage had been done to the place, but the church was still intact (we used the pews to sleep in). I can well imagine that it was a good place to live in before the troubles. There was a dairy farm and school there.
