IRC=Internet Relay Chat. It's a very fun and useful program that allows you to chat with people from around the globe. There are a number of IRC Clients (programs used to connect to the IRC server, and chat with the users there) , but the 2 most popular are pIRCh and mIRC. If you would LIKE to download Pirch32 for your computer...just follow the link:

...that will take you right to a website for Pirch. :)

If you'd rather try mIRC (another IRC client) follow this link..

Ok..so you want to know more about IRC? Ok, first off, to get IRC, you have a program that runs from a computer somewhere. Then another program, like pIRCh or mIRC, connects to the IRC daemon (or program) and thusly gives you the environment to chat. What you connect to (the program) is referred to as a Server, and usually there are a number of Server's linked together to create a Network. On these Networks are Channels, which usually are specifically created for a type of chat. Example: #computers would mainly discuss computer realted things. Once you get the basics of IRC and chatting, like learning the smily faces: :) =) ;) :and learning what 'brb' and 'rofl' mean, it gets to be not only enjoyable, but can become addictive! If you have a specific IRC question, I'll do my best to answer it. I might even start a Q&A Section, and post questions. You can E-mail me the question, or if you have an IRC client and would like to ask me in person, open the IRC client and connect to server mortis.or.us.dynastynet.net on port 6667. I'm usually found in channel #Dynasty. If I'm not there, there should be someone who can help you. Just ask for 'dave' or 'local8'. Someone should be able to either find me, or tell you how to get ahold of me. I'll try to answer questions as soon as I read them. Which could be weeks!
