We depart from Cape Town and travel to Paarl which
is the largest inland town in the Western Cape. We visit Fairview wine farm
(famous for its goat cheese) and Landskroon wine estate.
Then it's off to Franschoek, a most beautiful valley originally known as "Le
Quartier Francois". Visit the Hugenot Monument (Built in 1938 to commemorate
the 250th anniversary of the arrival of the Huguenots).
Next, it's off to Stellenbosch via Boshendal wine farm for wine tasting.
In Stellenbosch we visit Muratie wine farm with it's fine ports and Delheim
wine estate for lunch.
After lunch we visit Vlottenberg and Spier wine farms and then back to Cape
Town via Muizenberg with it's miles of beaches. Tour price: R330.00
Wine Route (Option
2)
Day trip to Historic Stellenbosch, the second oldest
town in South Africa founded in 1679.
Take a 90 minute walk through the town where slavery, political unrest fashion
and social life comes alive.
Visit Oom Samies se winkel, one of the first trading stores in Stellenbosch.
Lunch will be held at Helderberg Wine estate.
After lunch we visit Eerste Rivier and Zevenwagcht wine estates and travel
