NHL Career

   A veteran of many award-filled years, Fedorov possesses every imaginable tool. Drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in the fourth round (74th overall) of the 1989 NHL Entry Draft, Fedorov has not only eclipsed the 100-point total multiple times, he has also won the Frank J. Selke Trophy given to the best defensive forward. In 1994, Fedorov posted an astounding 120 points while capturing the Selke Trophy. Using his outstanding speed and two-way hockey sense, Fedorov finished that season a plus-48. He helped the Red Wings win the Stanley Cup in 1997, 1998 and 2002. In those three playoff years, Fedorov posted 20, 20 and 19 points, respectively. The superstar center also played for the 1998 and 2002 Russian Olympic teams, totaling 10 points in 12 games.
