Before considering the Issues ,it seems very important to discuss how women have participated in public life and how they are incoporated into the elite decision-making structure.The Moroccan Woman , always played an important social and political role in society ,but when THE NEW CHART'll COME , with it ,woman's access to the modern opportunities'll have strongly influenced by the politcies of the gouvernment and by the help gave it to her by their work and diploma , which define appropriate domestic and public roles .
In spite of domestic and International Laws that affirm the equality of the sexes in regard to the political rigths ,a deeply entrenched resistance to change permeates Society.Even though Moroccan Women have in principle been offered political opportunities ,their participation in public life has been estabilished gradually by elitist initiatives .Alhough women's rights have been bestowed from above and have been constrained by Social norms and limited opportunities ,women were active in the struggle against .They are attempting to promote various changes for women ,including reforms in labor legislations ,a review os women's personal status ,and a more aggressive approach to changing women's conditions calls for Radical tranformtion of the women and males wages for equal work, women's wages in both the informal and formal sectors are on the average much lower than men's .The lower wages can be explained not in terms of lower productivity but in terms of the segregation of the laber market .Market Sellers ,carpeaters and transporters are likely to be men ,whereas housekeepers and home -based piece-workers are generally women ,the demand for women warkers being limited to a few areas of the Administary work public and semi-public,. |
