Welcome to my humble photo album of my Australian adventures!

I had a most wonderful time in Australia.  I met some great people,  made some wonderful memories, and I was able to spend time with my family in Perth.  My experience was priceless and Perth is now a part of my heart.

But I'm not longer in Perth.  I've returned to the U.S. and finished my undergraduate education at St. Olaf College in Minnesota.  I graduated in May, then went to Europe for the summer (which was fantastic!).  I studied for 6 weeks at the University of Oslo, participating in the international summer school program there.  My friend, Teddi, from home flew into Oslo, then we traveled for a month through Copenhagen, Berlin, Prague, Eindhoven, Amsterdam, London, Norwich, and Deal in England.

Although I'm majoring in psychology, I want to get my master's in Specialized Education and work on the elementary school level.  We are in a great need of special ed teachers, and I highly recommend going into that field...or just education in general.  Hopefully by the time I'm actually starting my carreer in this, teachers will be valued more and getting better wages, but I can't bet on that.  So for now I'm going to get a job in an elementary school as an assistant of some sort until I go back to school.

My friend, Kylie came to visit in February, and it was great seeing her!  I got to spend a couple days with Kim and Kylie, but soon after had to go back to school in Minnestoa.  Now my mom has returned to Australia to visit her family, and I'm quite jelous.  But it's okay because I get to return in June to celebrate my Opa's 90th birthday with my family!  Until then!
