| Castle Rock County Park Campout - Adams, WI June 28 - June 29 ,2002 (Moved Campout from Point Bluff due to high water levels) |
| Due to the fluctuating water levels and muddy situations we have moved the camping party to Castle Rock County Park - Adams side - instead of Point Bluff Resort. We will get a group site or reserve a few sites close together so we can be a group, with water and electric available. (Hopefully, might be limited) Where as Point Bluff we were all in a line along the river and not knowing where we'd be put if the water is high. Rod and I will have our big gas grill out there, rafts, and 2 boats for people to use. So just bring your neccessities and come have fun. Everyone is responsible for their own food and beverages . Visitors ARE WELCOME!!!! The park offers a hiking trail which leads to a tower you can overlook the lake, sandy beach, boat launch, docks, fishing, horse shoes, sand volleyball, playground, pay showers - .25 for 3 min. and they have rest rooms close by. We also have croquet that can be set up. Meechthaman has offered kereoke . We will have a fire ring for everyone to enjoy as a group and supply the wood. |

| Pay for your sites when you enter the park. You will be given a parking pass with your payment. You must stop at the office to register. All cars must have a park pass to be in there. No one entering the park after 10:30 will be allowed without a pass. Quiet time is from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. ( Sorry) If you can only stay one night you pay for one night not 2 nights. You must pay per camping unit tho. |

| DIRECTIONS to Castle Rock County Park - Adams County Side: 608-339-7713 2300? County Road Z - if you look it up County Road HH is closed for construction Madison - Milwaukee- La Crosse - Eau Claire - Tomah: Take interstate 90/94 to Mauston - exit 69 - turn onto East HWY 82 approx. 10 miles you'll come across the Wisconsin River, immediately after the bridge turn left to County Z go 9 1/2 miles, it's on your left. Oshkosh - Appleton : HWY 21 West , take a left onto HWY 13 South. Stay on HWY 13 past Adams about 4 miles to CTY F to the right. Come to a stop sign, Left onto CTY Z a mile, it's on the right side. IF YOU CAME TO POINT BLUFF LAST YEAR, IT'S ON THE SAME ROAD ONLY 9 I/2 MILES TO THE NORTH. If you need more directions let rodswm or ice_angel35@yahoo.com know. You'll see signs to the county park from Hwy 82 from Mauston towards Oxford to CTY Z. Also on HWY 13 south of Adams. We'll hang ballons by the entrance to the park. |
