Osma Bin Laden is one of the CIA's most wanted men but a hero to many young Arabs.
Bin Laden and associates were already being sort after by the USA after his attack on US embassies in Africa where he bombed the embassies in 1998. He was also involved in an attack on USS Cole in Yemen.
Osma Bin Laden was born in Saudi Arabia and fought against the Sovients in Afghanistan. He is an extremly wealthy man beleived to have three wives.
This year 4 men contected to Osma Bin Laden and the bombing of the embassies in Africa were charged.
He has also been granted a safe haven amoung the Taleban in Afghanistan.
During his time in hiding he has called upon a holy war against Americans and Jews and is know to have had 3,000 fighters rally around him.
He is also suspected of helping set up training camps to prepare soliders for war in Chechnya.
His power is founded on a personal fortune earned by his families construction business in Saudi Arabia.
After the Sovient withdrawal Bin Laden and his followers turned their fire against the US and its allies in the Middle East.
Bin Laden returned to Saudi Arabia to work in the famil construction business but was expelled in 1991 because of his anit-governemtn activities.
He spent the next 5 years in Sudan until US pressure prompted the government to expel him; he then returned to Afghanistan.
Terroism experts say Bin Laden has been using his millions to fund attacks against the US. The US state department calls him "one of the most significant sponsors of Islamic extremist activities in the world today."

In Australia, America and Canada and definatly other countries in the world Muslim's have been greatly affected by this terroist attack. Muslim's regradless of where they were born have experienced rasicim over the past week, due to the fact that Osama Bin Laden is Islamic. Never have when seen a world so anxious as to find out who the terroists are and to punish them for what they've done.
But in many ways this has bought the bad out in people like never before. The attack on the United States was about the fact that they did not "like" American culture and way of life...so why should we blame Muslims aren't we just doing the same?
