The MONSTER XL  2002 version is a shorter, more powerfull and shot time improved version of the 2000-01 MONSTER XL version. The  2002 MONSTER XL version is more powerfull than the MONSTER X, CPS 2100, CPS 1500 and CPS 1000, which overpowered  the 2000-01 MXL before. With the Dual nozzles and the gatling Gun design, it is the heaviest and most intimidating looking soaker up to date. Its specilaties are that it has the highest shot soakge up to date and also the longest shot time of any CPS cannon (23X lasting 4 seconds). Properly used, it is the ultimate soakage weapon. Because of the looks and the soakage, it is one of the most desired and expensive soaker for Water Warriors and  Collectors who value size and soakage.

Strengths =
- Long shot time. 4 seconds on the 11.5/115X dual nozzle, and 14 seconds on the 5X single nozzle
- Highest shot soakage of any CPS cannon up to date
- Best build soaker up to date
- Most intimidating soaker up to date
- A strap that makes carring a second soaker easier
- suport legs

Weaknesses =
- Structure balance, since the front part is heavier than the back part
- For its size it should be more powerfull than the CPS 3200,CPS 2500 and CPS 2000, which it is not
- Takes alot of pumps to preasurize
