History:	Known both for his fiery disposition as well as his ruthless and often brutal tactics on the battlefield, Star Colonel Beld Norizuchi is a force to be reckoned with both in and out of the cockpit. While preferring medium to heavier 'mechs, Beld has been training hard in order to fully utilize his new Cluster's lighter weight. While his fighting tactics have been the object of scorn from his superiors in the past, his continued winning record on the battlefield is hard to ignore.  Trueborn from the genetic material of mechwarriors Sven Hordwon and Sara Norizuchi, Beld was one of only three cadets in his sibko that were admitted to take part in the final Trial of Position, giving many within the training staff doubts as to whether the entire sibko was even worth the time and effort it took to train them. Much to their suprise, two of the three cadets succeeded in attaining warrior status by defeating three of their five opponents. Beld was one of the two.  Hailed as a promising ristar, Star Captain Beld proudly entered service with the warrior caste as leader of a Blizzard Trinary in the prestigious 7th Attack Cluster under Khan Ernest Wick. Quickly proving his worth in a series of successful battles against Clan Hell's Horses on the planet Hoard, it appeared that Beld's career was heading for greatness when tragedy struck in 3017. In a grueling battle, forces from Clan Diamond Shark managed to surprise The Blinding Keshik and Khan Wick was killed in the ensuing attack. Blamed by another Star Captain for having allowed the enemy forces to slip behind Hellion lines, Beld called for a Trial of Grievance against the accusation. Combat between the two warriors was fierce, ending after Star Captain Beld abandoned the Rules of Engagement's disallowance of physical attacks and performed a "Death-From-Above" maneuver on the Star Captain's Ice Ferret, effectively killing him.  Although vindicated through combat, Star Captain Beld was given a severe reprimand and was transferred out of 7th Attack Cluster into the 90th Striker Irregulars of Beta Galaxy. Adding insult to injury, Beta Galaxy was soon after attacked in force by Clan Fire Mandrill, nearly decimating the unit. However, it was during this time that Star Captain Beld's true leadership abilities shined through, helping bring his unit back from the brink of destruction several times and earning him a nomination to compete for the Norizuchi bloodname.  Competition within his Trial of Bloodright was stiff and difficult, resulting in the deaths of eight combatants, three of which were at the hand of Star Captain Beld. In the end, Beld was victorious and earned his Norizuchi name. Star Captain Norizuchi was then transferred onto the personal staff of then Delta Galaxy Commander James Lienet, serving under him for several years before winning promotion to Star Colonel following Lienet's promotion to saKhan. Beld willingly followed his superior's transition of command back to Beta Galaxy, and accepted command of the 121st Hellion Lancers following Loremaster Jonathan Wick's transfer to the 150th Hellion Lancers.
