THETA  GALAXY 

Also known as the Caste Saviors, Theta Galaxy exists more in name than in actual practice. Usually split into Binary or Star level units, Theta Galaxy's main role is the protection of Merchant Caste vessels as they move though hostile space. Assignments to Theta Galaxy are considered worse than death by many proud Ice Hellion Warriors. Those that find their way to Theta have disappointed their commanding officiers, often resentful of being demoted to a "babysitting" position.
Nonetheless, Theta Galaxy is especially well-versed at zero and low-G combat, skills not trained for or present in other Galaxies.
The standard unit insignia for Theta Galaxy features a giant ice hellion leaping from a Merchant-class Jumpship. Many Trinaries or Binaries have adopted custom insignias in place of the standard, further denoting the Galaxy's fragmentation.

180th Attack Cluster      

The 180th is a hodge-podge of forces, often used to test new ideas or to simulate enemy forces who may not conform to the normal Ice Hellion methods of attack.

44th Hector Cavaliers		      


The 44th Cavaliers are specifically tasked with the defense of merchant vessels. Pilots are trained for escort duty while all Elementals are given combat training scenarios involving zero-G and confined areas, much like those found aboard a Dropship or Jumpship.

This close attachment has led many to believe the 44th is actually more loyal to the Merchant Caste than their Warrior Caste brethren.
