NOMENCLATURE
1 Assault Cavaliers, the heaviest Front-Line units of the Ice Hellion, are equipped with three Supernova Trinaries with Heavy and Assault class Battlemechs prominent. Additionally, there is a Striker Trinary and an Aerospace Trinary. The single unit of this type, the 2nd Assault Cavaliers, is the Command Cluster of Delta Galaxy.
6 Attack Clusters are present in both Front-Line and Second-Line Galaxies and typically consist of two Blizzard Trinaries backed by two Supernova Trinaries and a Binary or Trinary of Aerospace fighters. Of the two Front-Line Attack Clusters, the 7th is the Command Trinary of Alpha Galaxy and the 200th commands Beta Galaxy. The 150th Attack Cluster of Zeta Galaxy, the 175th and 176th of Zeta Prime, and 180th of Theta Galaxy make up the Second-Line units of this type.
6 Force composition of four of these Second-Line clusters consists of a full Trinary of Battlemechs, a Trinary of Aerospace fighters, and three Trinaries made up of two Vehicle Stars and an Infantry Star equipped with jump packs. The 3rd, 7th, and 45th Cavaliers of Zeta Galaxy and the 43rd of Theta Galaxy all conform to this composition. The 44th Hector Cavaliers, who act as merchant escorts consists of five Trinaries containing one Star each of jump capable Battlemechs, Aerospace fighters, and Marines with two points of Elementals each. The 52nd Hector Cavaliers are Aerospace heavy units which replace the Battlemech Trinary with a second Aerospace Trinary.
5 The most equally balanced type of Front-Line cluster, Lancer clusters consist of five Lancer Trinaries. Each standard Lancer Trinary is made up of two Nova Stars dominated by Light and Medium Battlemechs, and a single Aerospace Star. Cluster Command Trinaries upgrade the light and medium Novas to mediums and heavy Novas. The 150th and 78th Hellion Lancers of Alpha Galaxy, and the 121st of Beta Galaxy each conform to this standard. The 77th Hellion Lancers of Alpha Galaxy is an Aerospace heavy unit and features three Aerospace Trinaries backed by 2 standard Lancer Trinaries. The 40th Hellion Lancers, also of Alpha Galaxy, is an Elemental specialist unit and comprises a trio of Elemental Trinaries with two supporting Lancer Trinaries.
4 The only front-line cluster with more Freeborn Warriors than Trueborn Warriors, this cluster type conforms to the traditional Clan cluster make up. Three Striker Trinaries, one of which is Heavy, a Supernova Trinary, and an Aerospace Binary are assigned to each Irregular unit.
In addition to cluster redefinitions, four new types of Trinaries exist within our Touman, along with standard Clan units.
8 Aerospace Binaries consist of two Omnifighter Stars of varying mass.
12 Aerospace Trinaries consist of three Omnifighter Stars of varying mass.
19 Assigned to several different clusters, Assault Supernova Trinaries consist of three Novas, one with Assault, one with Heavy, and one with Medium Battlemechs.
0 Currently non-existant in the Ice Hellion Touman, any Battlemech Binary would have one Light and one Medium 'mech Star.
4 Battlemech Trinaries consist of one Light, one Medium, and one Heavy Star of 'mechs. All Battlemech Trinaries are found in Hector Cavalier Clusters.
12 Blizzards consist of two Heavy Stars and one Medium Star of Battlemechs and are only seen in Attack Clusters.
15 Considered the be the least honorable unit which a warrior can be assigned, Composite Trinaries include two Vehicle Stars and a single Jump Infantry Star.
3 Elemental Trinaries consist of three full Elemental Battle Armor Stars. All three are assigned to the 40th Hellion Lancers.
3 Heavy Lancer Trinaries consist of one Heavy and one Medium Nova with one Aerospace Star for support. Heavy Lancers are the Command Trinaries of the 78th, 121st, and 150th Hellion Lancer Clusters.
4 Though identical in compostition to Blizzards with two Heavy Stars and one Medium Star of Battlemechs, Heavy Striker Trinaries are found in Irregular Clusters.
16 Lancer Trinaries employ two Novas equipped predominantly with Light or Medium Battlemechs and one Aerospace Star.
5 The only Trinary used in the 44th Hector Cavaliers, each Marine Trinary has a medium-weight Battlemech Star where each 'mech has jump jets, one Aerospace Star, and a two-point Elemental Star. The ten Elementals used by the 44th are specially trained for battle aboard Warships and Jumpships, both within the tight confines inside and the airless vacuum of outer space when on the exterior hull.
9 Strikers consist of two Light Stars and one Medium Star of Battlemechs and are usually assigned to Irregular Clusters.
