Andrej Mezin became the star of the league in the 98/99 season. He got Vice-Champion with the Nürnberg Icetigers and he contributed to this success considerably. Since he is playing for the Berlin Capitals he is still regardet as good, but no more as invincible. Maybe this is also, because there are more and more top-goalkeepers in the DEL.
