At the beginning of the last season the Italo-Canadian , who won the German championchip three times with the Adler, became a homecomer. The fans welcomed him after his "trip" to America like no other player. The lost son came home. Four different goalies tried tio make his job during his absence: Danny Lorenz, who had to give up because of an eye disease, Sven Rampf, Helmut de Raaf and Pavel Cargas, who guided the Adler to the German championchip.
