Fantasy Dolls: My Worlds

I've organized into collections by category. I update all sections, and you'll find my early work mixed in. My own characters are in My Worlds when I have several from one story, otherwise they go in My Characters. For dolls of characters who don't belong to me, or no character in particular, try Other Worlds.

Ay'lenveri ~ Valus ~ An Epic ~ Alternates

Ay'lenveri

(a story named after the heros)

''Rayna'' is just cool. The snake is Sliph. Cari in whatever the could find for her on a ship at sea. Cari dressed up like the lady she (usually) is. Evenna is from the mountains, where she would definately wear shoes. Lynn usually wears pants and much weaponry... but even swordswomen have to relax sometimes.

One would think the princess of a tiny island kingdom could happily marry the prince of a much larger kingdom on the mainland. If only she wasn't already engaged... Cari and Bryan Connorson I know, alternates usually go in their own section, but little Keven and Rayna will be lonely until I finish the series.

'Angry' is a fairly normal expression for Lynn. Cari, on the other hand, is all sweetness and light... usually. Rayna Evenna

For once, Ray doesn't have her snake with her. Keven and Rayna. Turns out the base isn't really suited for these characters.

Valus

(a story named after a city)

Master Magician Verynn Silverstar, all dressed up to impress. (Not that being the Master Magician isn't impressive enough.) Those bandits wouldn't have kidnapped Angelina Vinchevi if they knew what they were getting into. Gina again, about to take up archery. She's a master healer teaching a class in the field... and an attempt to make use of a rather unique pose. (Her name is Rielle.) I suppose you've caught on by now that I have to do a Verynn doll ever so often.

Young Verynn Tyrell calls her master symbol, a silver star. (Redone version.) Master Magician Verynn Silverstar doesn't need elaborate clothing to stand out... women don't dress like this where she comes from. little tiny Verynn little tiny Verynn
little Gina
Now THAT'S a dress worthy of a Master Magician. If Gina has to wear a dress with silly trailing ribbons, she's going to enjoy it!

I did this for a base edit contest. It's a nice base, but it doesn't really work for Gina. Whether or not she's Verynn, she certainly fits into this world. Verynn was supposed to be elegant and simple, but I'd say that dress ended up looking awfully expensive. I made this portrait of Gina when I was playing with hair.

The Other Great Epic Story

(a story that does not have a name)

The second daughter of the Sky King, Merliss guards the Star Paths with the help of a Dragon Lord. The eldest daughter of the Sky King, Dreyva is ruler of the day. Lindriel the Fair - the Sky King's youngest daughter. Lindriel is not exactly your typical former sky princess... Little tiny Lindriel Deryn Iren
Mira, Kit, Deryn
Deryn is entirely magical, so she could dress like this if she wanted to. Usually she doesn't. (And the magic thing is a secret, ssh!) Mirelle 'Mira' Sarth is sort of the protagonist. She's a seeress, like her mother. (This requires some adjustment.)

I think this incarnation of Deryn pre-dates the story. This is the blue version of a request for Helyn. She asked for Cari's hair style and Zandra's dress style, and I got to pick the colors. Finally, a full-sized appearance of Kit... in a slightly unusual outfit. My leading ladies dressed as entertainers. This would be a side story that I don't think I'll keep, but I had fun making this set. (It's the first time I've planned and designed full sized dolls specifically to be a set.) This Deryn is about to go out in a literal blaze of glory. (There's a non-glowing alternate.) Deryn... swimming?!

The Dragon Lady herself appears in her little-known storm goddess role. Extremely experimental. Since I'd tackled Merliss, it only seemed fair to make Dreyva, too.

Alternates

Sometimes I can't leave well enough alone!
I did this version to show off the shirt, and I took the opportunity to try a variation on the skirt. Technically speaking, the other is the alternate. I did this doll for a cockatiel contest. An alternate version of Helyn's request. I like the dress better and the hair less. Lindriel was the first of my set, posing as the musical portion their little troupe. (She was posing as a bard as it was, so it starts to get complicated!) Here, Deryn Brightsword is dressed as an entertain with showy but negligible magical skills. Note the flame and feather effects. It's supposed to be showy, a bit fussy, and rather too much.

Kit would never wear this, nor would she ever wear her hair down. Furthermore, she doesn't have a tattoo, and she prefers swords and nice, long daggers. But she's posing as a sword dancer, and it the name of duty a soldier girl does what she has to do. Mira has the simplest outfit, but that's probably more skin than she's showed in her life. I'd like her to be an acrobat, but unless I can work learning tumbling skills in somewhere, she'll be Deryn's assistant. You can get a better look at her without the glow effect. I think the grey version of this doll is just lovely.
