Served from 21.12.33 to 28.01.47, as Corporal, though Lance Corporal in 1937. Served in Singapore in 2nd Battalion, Taken prisoner 1942 and placed in a Japanese POW camp till 13,10.1945, when repatriated to the home of his father at 73 West End Road, Morecambe. Service Number 6140488. |
