Schwarz Stein ["Black Stone" in German] is the industrial/dark techno duo produced by Mana [of Malice Mizer and Moi Dix Mois] and signed to his Midi:Nette label. The group previously called themselves "Rudolf Steiner" before Mana came along. They released 2 demos but had no official release. In 2002 Schwarz Stein released their first official single Perfect Garden and in 2003 they released their first album, New Vogue Children. One more single, Current and their last CD release Artificial Hallucination.

Yes, their last release. Sadly, on February 1st 2004, Schwarz Stein announced that they will disband after their final Live on March 29th 2004.

Before forming Rudolf Steiner, Kaya [vocalist] was in a group called ISOLA and Hora [keyboards] was an ex-member of Velvet Eden.

ISOLA released one 2 track demo called Egoiste Butterfly. It contained the tracks "Egoiste Butterfly" and "Cruel". Kaya [at the time known as Hime] wrote the lyrics for both.

Velvet Eden had a moderate indies success with a handful of releases. Hora played keyboards on four songs and wrote the music for three of them: "Deadman's Child Minus 1 Gakushou", "Karesusuki" [from their first single Sute Neko] and Kumoonna [from their demo tape of the same name].

Schwarz Stein had played a handful of lives that mostly consisted of them opening up for Moi Dix Mois and a few events [where they share the bill with other bands and don't really put on a full show]. They had only had a couple one man full lives.
