Sophia, Goddess of Wisdom

 Sophia, Goddess
of Wisdom

Have you ever wondered about that gorgeous woman in Michelangelo's painting on the ceiling of the Sistine chapel—the one that God has his arm wrapped around while his other arm extends to touch the hand of Adam?

In the Judeo-Christian tradition the goddess Sophia is the beginning, the source of wisdom, and keeper of the knowledge of all that is righteous and just. With her sound wisdom and guidance, rulers lead their kingdoms to prosper. In the darkness and ignorance that thrive in her absence, the proverbial wasteland eats away at the soul and nations perish.

The dove appeared to the Virgin Mary in the form of the Virgin of Light, entered her and conceived Jesus. In this sense, Sopha attempted again, in to form of a man, to be united with the mortals she so loved.

Sophia's traits include: righteous, wise, loving, communicative, knowledgeable, creative, protective, giving, and truthful.

A Sophia woman sees it and tells it as it is; she has no fear of the truth.

The Goddess brings meaning to human experience with her gift of understanding "the bigger picture". Only when you stand back, gaining some emotional distance, can you see that even the most traumatic experiences can be the birthplace of your most treasured strengths.

Sophia was also the mother of Faith, Hope, and Charity.

MERICIANA..SPHIRICAL COMMUNICATION

Recovering from my recent "Dream Make-Over", I found myself moved by the light and memories of the vision I created in my Devotion and Spiritual Agreement to assist my Mother in her death and rebirth transition in November of 2004. Sophia was birthed of angel wings and together we touched the very essence of God.

LANGUAGE OF THE SOUL

Visionary art is a tool to access and to experience other dimensions. P>During my recovery from my surgery, and reflecting on the essence of our vision completed, I found myself interacting with Dr. Robert Peterson, a plastic surgeon in Hololulu, as my consciousness was engaged in the co-creative expression.
During this reflection I instanteously experienced the soul of Dr. Peterson's consciousness as if he was "interacting" in the moment sharing in his interest of healing art and revealing the unknown.

I was shown how the intimacy of time is relative to the purest truth of visionary art, realizing my body felt suspended of the knowledge of authenic healing art that is based on virtual realities and dreams.

Language thus became, in this specific context, a means of sphirical communication to hear, see and feel the Vision fulfilled.

Thus in a monent of being physical in space, like an open door joining, creating the feeling of equidistance between two individuals.

I learned that in viewing the art, when the eye is activated, perception of the physical world alters in all sorts of unexpected ways; mass is perceived as a fluid substance, arbitrarily contained within the outlines of objects taking form. Space is conceived as dense and solid, more solid than mass. As time seems to slow down during meditation, physical light also seems to move in slow motion, more like fluid than high-speed streams of particles.

The dream of omnivision totally changed my concept of the power of Love and the influence of "a flow of consciousness realizing our eyes are "more than receptors for light rays" and that the gift of the visible" is earned by shifting our perception of the time consciousness. This interpretation uses the metaphor of the screen as that which mediates our experience, a screen which catches our vision in a netwwork of meanings agreed...socially, Vision is a passage between two spaces and a metaphor for our meditated experience of an intelligible world.
