word to yo motha

I recently had read an article in my school's newspaper about students at my school and the battles between the social "cliques" that occur. Namely between those who wear Abercrombie & Fitch, and those who shop at Hot Topic. I almost puked. First of all, the whole idea of seperating everyone into their respective groups is just stupid to begin with. But then for someone who is obviously uneducated on the matter to write an article about it just adds to my cynicism. I'm going to be judged on what I write in this article. Whoop-dee-fuckin-doo. It is human nature to judge everything, based on what our knowledge of the world is. Because of all these god damn kids thinking they know everything, but actually knowing as much as a fucking brick, judgements are passed and the seed is planted for animosity to grow.
I have good arguments for both sides of this story. Some for the so-called "preps" and some for, well...everyone else.
When was it that punk started becoming a mainstream fashion trend? I think it's annoying as fuck. I am not a "punker" and I don't have plans of becoming one. I think it has become so commercialized and over used now that it could be compared to Ron Jeremy's penis. It's big, but do you wanna touch it? I sure don't. Look at him. But at the same time, that is the exact reason why I admire him. Anyways, that aside I hate the whole punk look. People say it shows how they're an individual and how they are against mainstream society. Hello you dumbfucks! You were too worried about getting your faux-hawk just right that you didn't notice everyone else that is like you? Your ideology should not be presented in the way you look, but in the way you act. Because I have my ears guaged that means I'm a little rebel bastard about to try and overthrow the government for anarchy? Fuck off. If you think you're so god damn unique in your thoughts then how about standing up and fighting for something instead of whining about never getting your way in your bitchy pop songs.
As far as "preps" are concerned, well... they aren't as bad as you would think. A lot of them are uptight mormons. There are the few though that taint the name for everyone else. What I think is a kick in the pants is the fact that these people think that they're above everyone else. Because they have the 30 something dollar t-shirts that look 40 years old (shit my parents must be sittin' on a couple grand), they think that they are in some way better than the rest of the population. What a lot of these stupid asses don't see, is that there are many clothing brands out there that are as expensive if not more, and are the total opposite style of theirs. And they actually look new. Well fuck me.
Well now that I have passed judgement on people and have shown my spectrum of knowledge, whether broad or miniscule, I feel much better getting that off of my chest. So until the next time something irritates me, so long.
God dammit high school kids piss me off,
