Meeting started at 4:47 pm with a moment of silence.

Present: Larry L., Wanda, Darlene, Gloria, Yolanda, Joi, Kateka, Leslie K & Leslie J.

Absent: Larry B., Brenda, Candace, Joy, Leanne, Sparkle & Donna

Old Business

Ann renewed her associate membership.

Yolanda announced Round Robin were she passed out 40 fliers.

Eurhythmic Flow will be performing. (Steppin)

Mark Dingle cannot DJ. Leslie K. & Darlene will try & contact Tangarey to DJ.

Leslie K. will make more “No Smoking” signs.

Wanda is going to check with Country Inn & Suites (closer) & Marriott for meeting room prices etc.

July 18, Dance Cruise leave Akron 7pm, sail in Pittsburgh around 10pm.

Larry Gates wants to be a part of the group. However, his job is out of town & seasonal. We will vote on his application in the next meeting.

New Business

There are cabarets coming up

Water & stereo schedule was announced.

Yolanda mentioned gentlemen she knows that’s good with announcements. Larry L. will do the announcements at the cabaret.

Three in & three out of town cabarets may be a bit much. Gas prices are expected to go up to $4 this summer, with hotel etc…

Mention of up coming cabarets in March.

Larry L. will call Sparkle.

Steppin & Level I Ballroom classes are available.

Leslie K. has Celebrity tickets $25.

Reminder: We do NOT accept checks for tickets. CASH ONLY.

Celebrity Dancers is sponsoring a bus trip to Detroit for United We Dance Reunion. The cost is $60. You will receive $20 back on Friday & $20 back on Saturday. You must register.

Possible small bonus for more out of town attended over 3 if there is money in the account.

Darlene would like to teach a new dance, once she learns it.

Kateka will teach the dance of the month TK Step.

Leslie K. says class sucks. No one knows anything. We need to reteach old dances.

Darlene made a motion to stay after class 30 minutes to practice.

We will have practice @ 4:30 every other Sunday until our cabaret.

We will vote on probationary members next month.

Wanda made a motion to adjourn. Gloria 2^nd 5:51 pm.
