Meeting started @ 6:45pm with a moment of silence.

Absent: Wanda, Kateka, Darlene & Larry G., Brenda & Larry L.

Old Business

Gloria made a motion to accept the secretary report & Larry B. 2^nd.

Gloria made a motion to table treasurer report till next month till fees & dues are caught up. Leslie K. 2^nd

Cabaret report for 2008 correction will wait till next month.

Leslie K. – Gas drawing we made $250. Winners: Steve Buzask, Melvin Finney & Candice Spencer.

Joy B. & Sparkle declined to be in the group. They still need to hand in a resignation.

2009 Spring cabaret: If we charge $25 we will need better decorations & food. Yolanda will try to find another location. Formal affair, think about people may not be comfortable line dancing in formal. Table till next month, everyone have some ideas.

New Business

Larry B. suggested – Bring 2 or more new people to class w/flyer, you can get in free. He will get fliers made to start in October for the rest of the year.

No one attended Georgia’s cabaret, so we need to send 2 ticket money $30.

Upcoming cabarets: Louisville Slyde Sept. 13, New Hustle Generation Sept. 27 & Master Dancers Oct. 4. Donna has tickets for Master Dancers.
