Meeting called to order at 4:46pm with a moment of silence.
Wanda made a motion to accept the secretary’s report & Joi 2nd.
Leslie J. made motion to accept the treasurer’s report & Brenda 2nd.
Kateka will remove Joy B. & Dedra’s name from the reports.
Presidents Meeting was October 25. U.W.D. reunion will be in Cleveland, Ohio June 6, 2009. It maybe possible to pay online. Seating arrangements are first come, first serve. Please register early. There will be 2 dance floors 1 at each end of the room. The next presidents meeting will be in February.
2009 Spring Cabaret:
Larry L. spoke with Linda & the fairgrounds are not available April 18, 2009. However, the Saturday before (4-4-09) & the Saturday after (4-25-09) is available. Group would prefer 4-25-09. Check on deposit, it is recommended not to roll year after year.
Membership:
Leslie Johnson last day as a member will be December 31, 2008. Wanda will be an associate member. Her associate member fee was given to the treasurer.
December meeting we will be voting on 2009 officers.
Larry G. should of start paying dues as of August. 3 - month probation period up. 4 in favor of Larry being a full member, none opposed.
Old Business
Frank’s cabaret – hold 2 tickets at the door for Yolanda.
Thanksgiving give away will be November 24. 5 $10 gift cards. December give away & free class will be December 15.
A King and 4 Queens in Detroit on November 29. Jimmy Jam’s after Thanksgiving line dance reunion in South Euclid is November 29. Buchtel Alumni is also November 29.
