Master’s Message:

  • Well my year is over!!  I want to thank the Brothers that have helped me and thank them for their confidence in electing me again, as Master of Ideal Lodge No. 367.
  • Thank everyone for attending the 18th Masonic District Meeting in November.  We won second place for the most members present.  Not bad considering the circumstances as they are.
  • I also want to thank Livingston Lodge No. 160 for extending the Hand Of Charity and their hospitality in allowing Ideal Lodge No. 367 the opportunity of meeting in their Lodge Hall at no cost to Ideal Lodge, for the remainder of this year and the entire year of 2006.  Ideal Lodge Members are Eternally Grateful for your assistance.  y

REPORT ON THE LAST MEETING!

  •  Election of Officers and a Closed Installation will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2005.

W.B. ARMANDO "SKIP" PEREZ, DGL 18th

At the 18th Masonic District Meeting, the above Brothers were again nominated

To remain in their respective Grand Lodge Positions for the ensuing year 2006!!

We also took second place in attendance!!

 RELIEF:

  • Leon “Charlie” Lips passed away on November 11th of heart failure.
  • Chick Acosta’s wife passed away on the day of Hurricane Katrina and was cremated.  Brother Acosta wants services for his wife, when traditional services can be held in St. Bernard Parish.

  • Brothers, please remember the above-mentioned Members and family in your prayers!

Secretary’s Message:

Brothers, the 2006 Dues Cards are in my office.  Please remit your dues, PAYABLE to: IDEAL LODGE # 367, c/o: Armando Perez, 12108 Coles Creek Blvd., Hammond, LA 70403-2024.  Do not mail anything to the Lodge Halls.  Please send all mail to the Coles Creek address, or I might not receive it!  Dues are still $45.50 per year.  Please remember to add your optional 2¢ worth a day for an additional $7.30.  Please make check in the amount of $52.80.

We still have one member that owes 2005 dues!  Brethren, your dues are due at the first of the year, not the end of the year!  How do you expect us to operate with the same member(s) each year holding back until after September of each year?  Per Capita is now $19.50 per member, paid to Grand Lodge at the end of each year, whether the member pays or not!  Therefore, the Lodge has voted to suspend everyone that is only one year behind in his dues!  Therefore you will be suspended for Non-Payment of Dues at the end of the current year!  Sorry Brothers, but sometimes you have to do things that are not popular, but are necessary!  L

ALSO, PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS LETTER IS SENT BY E-MAIL TO THIRTEEN (13) MASONS AND THEY WILL NOT GET THE MAILED VERSION.  THIS HELPS KEEP THE COST OF POSTAGE DOWN AND ALSO PROVIDES THE NEWSLETTER TO THEM, TWO DAYS EARLIER!!  IF YOU HAVE AN E-MAIL ADDRESS, PLEASE PROVIDE IT TO:  "skipperez@bellsouth.net".  THANKS!!
