WHAT IS A CLANDESTINE LODGE AND
MASON?
A Clandestine Lodge is one that is operating with
a charter that has not been issued by a duly recognized Grand Lodge. An
individual who belongs to one of these Lodges is considered a Clandestine
Mason. A lodge may be considered clandestine in one state or Jurisdiction
and regular in another state or jurisdiction. It is clandestine for you if
your Grand Lodge does not recognize it. That is one reason every Louisiana
lodge should maintain a current copy of the book "List of Lodges
Masonic" issued by the our Grand Lodge. |
