This is the point where I am not quite sure if I am doing the right thing. Who do you put down there and who not? Do your friends mind if you put a picture of them on your web-site? And what if they don't even know that you are gay yet?????

Well. I'll take my chances with the following friends. I am sure there are going to be more soon.

The first one I have to tell you about is my best friend Stefan. I have known him since 95' when we met at law school in Salzburg. I was on the best way to spend the rest of my life there without ever taking (or passing) any exams when he introduced me to a whole group of new friends. We did a lot of studying together and he helped me get motivated (we still managed to get drunk every other night). If you wonder what our studying weekends were like take a look at my pictures from a typical weekend on my parents farm when they were not there Party pictures. In the end it took him only 3.5 years to finish law school whereas it took me 6 years. Now he is working for one of the really big and important law firms in Vienna.  Forgot to say that he is madly in love with his girlfriend (and his dog!).

Martina (Tinchen) is another one of my hot favorites. She has studied at the same law school as me and was always there when we needed someone to join us for college parties or other festivities. I get a lot of moral support from her since we have found out that our luck in relationships is strangely connected. So much so that I even feared telling her when I broke up with my last boyfriend. I wish we could go to New York again together including the mad bar crawl we had ;-). Well in the end I did have a very good time at law school and we were a good circle of friends. Just a shame that I don't see much of my old law school mates anymore (probably because I never call them?!). Ok I guess I should take you through the people on this picture. From the left to the right: Martina who I used to go out with her for 6 month, best time I've ever had with a girl *grin* - Ina who I love her for sending in her CV to Calvin Kline and Ralf Lauren in New York for a summer job with no previous experience whatsoever - Marion the only person who didn't study law. She is Nina's sister and used to be Stefan's girlfriend. She is now working as a stewardess for Austrian Airlines - Dagmar, watch out when she starts to talk, there is no stopping her - Nina who was kind enough to let me ride Goodwin her horse from time to time. I know she will never understand why I left Salzburg and will always wonder when I am coming back - Stefan - Andrij in front who is now studying in San Diego. He is one of the few people I am still in contact with. I wish him good luck with the application for that 120K job in London. And of cause me at the back.

Nina and Herbert are two of my friends from law school. Rumor has it that they are going to get married this summer. Herbert was always good for supplying us with beer from his local brewery and cooking tons of Spätzle (weird Austrian pasta with lot's of cheese and onions). No no. Not what you think. Martina and Michael have never been a couple. And before you ask I don't have a clue why they have been posing like that for the picture. But that's beside the point. Martina has been my girlfriend (yes you heard right girlfriend) for over half a year when I started law school. If only she knew... It was with her that I have done the trip from Montreal to Vancouver in a motor home, one of my best holidays ever!! She is another one of my friends getting married this summer. 

There is a very special man in my life. Graeme. I have met him beginning of April and have seen him pretty much on a daily basis for some time. He is such an adorable guy that I just couldn't stop looking at him. Which in return still made him a little bit nervous. And then he smiled and I finally thought that I had to kill him because he was so sweet. Oh and he knew how to give me goose bumps (even in a pub!). But just judge for yourself from the picture, isn't he the best? Well life goes on and we decided against the relationship, I hope that doesn't effect our friendship though and I still need his help on finishing my new design for my web site.
