It was decided (with a vote) that we would try a couple more bazaars. We are planning to do an April bazaar at the senior citizen center in Wasilla. This would be the 1st week in April. There is also a bazaar at the senior citizen center in Anchorage on March 27th. We are also possibly looking into one more at a later date.

                If you can help man...er...I mean woman any of the bazaar booths, please, let one of our Ididachain officers know. If you can't help in a booth, can you help make quick & easy items for sale? No Christmas items at this time a year, although hats and scarves seem to sell pretty well, even in the spring. Easter items or other spring-like items might be a hit! Any items that you'd like to donate for sale will be appreciated. Again, let one of our officers know that you have items to donate!!

                We are hoping to have the traveling teacher from CGOA, Melody McDuffie, up on May 22. Delma will work out the details with Melody. As soon as the date is finalized, information will be posted on the website.

                Pauline agreed to work on finding a place to hold the classes and check on food.

Lily Chin:

                We need to make final decisions on what classes we want to offer. We have Sat and Mon for classes. (We are splitting our time with Lily Chin with the Knitters of the North...they have classes with Lily on Fri and Sun.) We've agreed that Sat would be an all day (6hr) class and that Mon would offer two 3 hr classes.

                So far we've discussed having the 6hr Mosaic class for Sat. and then Tips, Tricks & Techniques as one of the 3hr classes on Mon. We need to choose the 2nd 3hr class and make a final decision about all the classes.

PLEASE come to the March Meeting and share your thoughts and suggestions!!!

2004 Service Project:

                We have a service project for 2004!!!! We will be making Lap-ghans or afghans to be made for the pioneer home and the assisted living group at the senior center in the valley.

                Our next meeting is on Saturday, March 27th (from 10:00 A.M. to Noon) in Anchorage. The meeting is held at Mt. View Lion's Den near the intersection of N. Pine St. and Mt. View Dr.
