Predefined Hardware Design Problems


1. Design an electronic eye for the main gate of a building to detect anybody's presence at the gate and also detect whether the person is coming inside or going out of the building. It also counts the number of persons passing through the gate.

2. Design an electronic heater, which goes to cut-off mode after a certain desired temperature and again turns on after a specific variation from that particular temperature; and it also detects the water level of the bucket containing hot water.

3. Design a circuit that can make a calculator be able to take zeroes as initial digits of any number. For example, now a calculator can show numbers like "0512", "0111" etc. (As we know that our presently available calculators will show a number like 0512 as 512 only.)

4. Design a circuit that can detect the various waveforms generated by the function generator and also shows the detected waveforms on the screen made by using LED matrix.

5. Design a solar panel that will make the solar cell to be charged during the daytime and make this all to be discharged during nighttime; and hence make all the electricity consumable items of the building to be run by this stored solar energy.
