Nothing Matters In Love by Dionne || @ || www *1 year ago* "Dad slow down you're speeding!" i screamed from the back of his red matalic peoples carrier. "Relax,i'm doing fine" he laughed and dangerously started to swirve the car in all directions.My dad always was a drunk driver but it was the first time he had ever taken me in the car with him,i was terrified.Speeding straight through a red light all i could hear was the loud horns of other cars around us who he almost hit,then all of a sudden he slammed his foot down on the brakes.Screams and cries came from both our mouths as the car smashed full force into a brick wall. *1 year later* "Dionne..sweetie..what are you doing?" my mother asked from my bedroom door as i sat on a chair infront of my mirror piling on my newly bought Maybelline foundation. "Covering up my face for starting my new school" i answered. "Darling you don't need to cover up your face" my mother said. "Yes i do" i said and looked at the reality of myself in the mirror.One side of my fave was caked in foundation and the other side that i still had to do was scars.Scars didn't completely cover my face,i guess you could get an image in your head of what i looked like before the crash but when your fifeteen years old and have other teenagers in your company ten deep scars on your face is something thats hard to have and hard to be accepted with by others around you. "I just want people to get to know me before.." my voice triled off sadly as i finished putting on the foundation "Before what?" my mum asked "Before they know the truth" i said and threw my bag over my shoulders before giving my mum a kiss and leaving for my knew school. As i arrived at the gates i took my small mirror out my bag and checked to see if the foundation had lasted.It was fine.I sighed deeply and made way to my classes. By the time lunchtime had come i was feeling pretty relaxed nothing bad had happend,everyone seemed friendly. I went to the school cafe and ordered macaroni.I sat at the circular table and soaked the grease off it with a paper bag. "Do all girls care about the stuff they eat?" a guys voice came from next to me,i looked up to see a boy with shaved and spiky hair,wearing a brown leather jacket,black jeans and had the most beautiful blue eyes i'd ever seen.I swallowed hard and fidgeted with the small white plastic fork. "Oh i'm sorry..have i offended you?" the boy asked and took a seat opposite me,putting his pizza down infront of him.I gave him a small smile and shook my head. "You're new around here..i'm Nicky" he smiled pleasently. "Em..you're in my English class?" i finally asked him "Yeah thats right" he smiled and tucked into his cheese and tomato pizza which looked more appotising than the macaroni.After a few mintutes of twirling the fork in my pasta i looked up at the boy infront of me.He was staring at my face and my heart started beating faster with panic. "Whats wrong..you look upset?" he asked her "Why are you staring at me??" i asked outta fear "Because your face is.." i jumped up and ran to the girls toilets before he could finish his sentence. I looked into the mirror with tears in my eyes but the foundation was was set perfect,the scars weren't noticable,so it confused me that Nicky was gonna point out something.As the bell went i walked to my Modern Studies class.Going inside Nicky caught my eye,there was no mistake about it i was starting to have a slight crush on him. He pulled the chair out that was next to him and montioned me over.I sat next to him and stayed quiet. "Look i'm sorry about before..i didn't mean to offend you,it was my way of trying to talk to you..i didn't do it very well.." he said,still confused over what he said wrong. "It's ok..i over reacted.." i smiled and shyly looked away from him. "You fancy going a walk through the flower gardens later?" he asked "I know it's comming into winter but they keep the flowers sheelded".I turned to him and smiled,i was so ammused by him. "Yeah..ok" i said and looked at him.His tempting lips were curved into a smirk and there was a sparkle in his eyes.School seemed to drag the rest of the day. I turned up at the park bang on time and saw Nicky standing with another lad,as i walked closer to them my heart lurched when i reconized the other lad as Kian.He was at my old school and knew what i looked like underneath the make-up. "Hi.." i said half heartedly,noticing the way Kian was scanning my face. "How are you?" Nicky asked with a grin on his handsome face "I'm..fine" i smiled and nodded "Dionne this is my friend Kian..Kian this is Dionne" Nicky proudly introduced us and Kian played along like we didn't know eachother and shook my hand. "Kians girlfriend will be joining us shortly" Nicky said "Actually i think i see her now!" Kian yelled and ran ahead.It was obviously a quick get away,i wasn't sure if it was because he was in my company but i was glad because it was Kians girlfriend who teased me so much i had to leave my last school. Nicky took my hand as we walked around the sweet smelling rose bushes. "You look nice all dressed up" he said with a smile "Oh it's nothing really..i love wearing pink when i'm going for a walk" i told him and straightend out my pink top. "Pretty in pink" he stopped and faced me.He put his hand up towards my face but i quickly grabbed hold of it. "What are you doing?" i asked uncomfortably "Just taken a stray strand of hair out your eyes" he said sweetly and done a little bounce "Oh yeah.." i blushed "I didn't do the style well" i ran my hand through my hair. "Your hair is perfect" he said "A lovely shade of Blonde aswell" "Oh Nicky stop.." i smiled "What?" he grinned "Stop showering me with compliments" i said innocently "Why? I mean everything i say" he said and pulled me in closer to him "You gonna give me your number?" "Are you serious?" i bit on my lip.Nicky grinned and nodded. "Alright..you got a piece of paper and a pen?" i asked him "No...but i do have a good memory" he teased "Try me" I gave in and told him my number.He took my hand in his and gently kissed it. "I'll see you tomorrow" he winked and picked the most beautiful red rose i had ever seen and handed it to me. "Oh Nicky you are.." i had never experianced these kind of emotions with a boy before "Am..?" Nicky smiled waiting on my answer "You're so romantic" i whispered.He smiled and moved in closer,he reached his hand out to put it on my face but i gently moved it away,not making it too obvious as we embraced in a kiss-my first proper kiss. After leaving Nicky and going into my house i smiled as i walked into my room and put my rose in a vace of water.I switched on my high-fi and played my Love Me For A Reason. "Ok..a smile,a twirl and the Boyzone cd...someones inlove" my mum grinned from the door. "Mum look what he gave me" i held up the vace with the big red rose in it. "Oh lovely..and he would be?" she asked "A boy in my class called Nicky..mum for the first time in a year i'm happy..he's sweet,gentle and romantic" i said dreamily.I began to walk back and tripped over one of my shoes,the water from the vace splashed all over my hands and on the carpet.I swiped my hand over my face and sighed to my mum. It's ok it's only water" she smiled "Emm..does Nicky know?" she tapped her finger on her face.I turned to the mirror and faced reality.Where i had swiped my had over my face a little bit of the foundation had come off and one of my ten scars was threatening to appear. I shook my head and placed the vace firmly on the table.Tears streamed down my face slowy. "Oh darling" my mum hurried over and wrapped her arms securely around me "Sooner or later..he's gonna have to know" she said and placed a kiss on top of my head. I was happy when friday came.I had lasted a week of school without anyone finding out my secret.Nicky and i had saw more of eachother and he was comming round tonight.My mum was going out with her friends to give me some privacy which i was very grateful for.The door bell rang and i placed my lipgloss on the table and flipped my hair behind my shoulders. "Hi.." i smiled as i opened the door to Nicky standing with a blue carrier bag and in his hand,i kissed his lips twice. "Hey" he grinned and followed me upstairs "This is my room" i told him and closed the door behind us "It's nice!" he smiled and pulled me down on his knee.I laughed and wrapped my arms around his neck. "Are we gonna watch a film?" he asked "Nah..you won't have the same taste in movies as me" i told him "I might! Whats you top three favourite films?" he asked "In order?" "Yeah in order" "Ok..emm..Grease..Cruel Intenions and Saturday Night Fever" i said "Mmmm they're ok i guess" he teased "Cheeky!" i cupped his chin "Told you we''d have different tastes" "It's a shame coz.." he went into the blue bag he had with him "I thought you'd like these to have as you watched the film" he brought out a heart-shaped box of chocolates and handed them to me. "My god..why aren't all guys like you?" i smiled and ran my hand through his spiky hair "Why do you want other guys to be like me when i'm your man already?" he whispered huskily,sending small shivers down my spine. "Good point" i smiled and opened the box up "Does this just make your mouth water or what? Let me find the leaflet" "No don't look at the leaflet!" Nicky said and grabbed out my hand "Why not?" i asked "Because known what chocolate is what spoils the fun.Everyone know that in an assorted box of chocolates theres always at least one you don't like and finding them is the good part" he pointed out and picked up one of the sweets.I giggled as his features screwed up after biting into it. "Example coffee flavour is never good" he said and spat it out in a piece of tissue. "Neither is nougat" i told him and swallowed it fast "Try this one" i said,picking up the sweet and placing it at his mouth.He bit into it and a sweet pink centre poured out the middle. "The best one of all strawberry" i smiled.He nodded his head and placed his lips against mine.I could taste the sweetness from his tongue as he pushed the strawberry flavoured chocolate from his mouth into mine.By the time our kiss hand finished the chocolate had melted on our tongues.It was the sweetest kiss he had ever given me. "It was nice of your mum to get out of her way so we can have a little privacy" Nicky said,breaking the silence that appeared after the kiss. "She's eager to meet you so you have to come up when she's here sometime" i said "What about your dad?" Nicky asked "My dads dead.." i said with a heavy heart "He died in a car crash" "Dionne..i'm so sorry..i didn't mean to.." "I know..you didn't know it's ok" i whispered.He smiled and brought me into his arms where i felt happy and safe. "Dionne..DIONNE!" i woke up to my mums voice.I opened my eyes slowly to see her standing over me. "What?" i answered.She raised an eyebrow as i realized i was still in the arms of Nicky who had also fallen asleep.I felt my face heat up instantly. "Nicky..?" i whispered and nudged him,he moved slightly but didn't wake up. "I can see what you like about this one...he's cute" my mum whispered with a giggle "Don't wake him..he seems peaceful" "So was i peaceful before you woke me" i complained and climbed back into Nickys arms "Can i trust you?" my mum asked uncertain that she was doing the right thing here. "Yeah..mum..he's sleeping anyway" i said "Ok..goodnight" my mum said and closed the door blocking out the hall light.I didn't sleep the rest of the night because i couldn't risk Nicky wakening up before me if my foundation had rubbed off. "Wakey wakey rise `n shine" i crawled over my boyfriends body "Morning beautiful" he smiled as his eyes fluttered open "Morning lazy bones" i giggled "What time is it?" he asked "Eight thirty..my mums made breakfast come on" i said,pulling him up. "How long have you been up?" he asked "Got in the shower at seven,got dressed,hair,make-up and a little talk with my mum" i smiled "Your mum..god how can i make a good first impression when i'm wearing yesterdays clothes?" he panicked. "Don't worry Nicky she knows you fell asleep here and we ain't that snooty..trust me" i laughed and took his hand as we headed for the kitchen. "Let me introduce you guys properly" i said as my mum turned away from the plates and looked at Nicky. "Mum this is Nicky Byrne..Nicky this is my mother" i said proudly "Ah Nicky..so your the charmer who's making my daughter so happy" my mum smiled and shook his hand. "I'm sorry for fallen asleep here and.." Nickys words were broken by my mothers laugh "Nicky it's quite alright..sit down,breakfast is almost ready" she said. "I'll just go wash up first" he said and excused himself " God mum isn't he lovely?" i said with a big smile "He seems fantastic and really into you aswell" she said happily "Your really into him huh?" "Oh mum..i'm experiancing feelings i've never had with a guy before..my heart just feels..ya know?" "Powered by love?" she asked "Yeah..exactly" i said as Nicky re-appeared into the room. "Not totally fresh but half way there" he smiled "Thanks for sharing that Nix" i smiled and handed his fry-up down to him.He looked confused when i brought my plate down infront of me with egg and sodiers on it. "Oh i don't eat red meat..so i don't have a fry-up" i explained and dipped a long cutting of toast into the egg yolk. After talking about our plans of going to over 18's disco,Nicky convincing me that we'd pass and then convincing my mum i'd be safe. "Thank you,breakfast was lovely" he said "Can i give you a hand with the dishes?" "No you two can get prepared for tonight" my mum said "But Dionne..have one alcohol drink,the rest of the night orange juice". "Ok thanks mum" i rolled my eyes and Nicky laughed. "Your mums pretty cool" he said "A little nutty sometimes but i love her" i smiled and went into my wardrobe "You'll have to go and change won't you?" "Plenty time..it's still morning" Nicky said "Ok but remember to have a bath before you put your party gear on ok?" i told him "You trying to say i stink?" he teased "No but you will do if you have they clothes on any longer" i grinned "What are you looking for?" he asked "My royal blue dress with the silver bits in it,i wanna wear that tonight" i said "Will you check the drawers please?" Nicky pulled the the top drawer open and began searching by the time he reached the bottom drawer i heard him gasp at some of my nightwear and underwear. "Who bought you this stuff?" he asked in shock "I get my stuff from ann summers" i told him "I found the dress by the way" i held it up againd myself and he smiled. "It'll look great on you" he said. Later that night after Nicky had left i got all ready to go,the dress was a little short but i wasn't too fussed about it. "What time are you meeting Nicky?" my mum asked "Eleven,right outside the Revolution" i said as i put in my big gold hoops "You be careful ok?" she said and fixed the tangled straps on my dress "I will be..thanks for letting me go mum" i smiled gratefully "Oh your welcome,off you go". I took one last look in the mirror and put my foundation in my bag incase i needed touch-ups. I stepped out the taxi and heard a wolf whistle and before i could turn around Nickys arms were wrapped around my waist and he was kissing down my neck. "You look absolutely stunning" he whispered huskily "You look great too!" i chirped and took his hand as we walked casually past the bouncers. "Told you we'd pass" Nicky whispered.I giggled nervously as the beat of the music was getting nearer us. "Ok on the count of three..1..2..3" Nicky pushed the door open and we walked straight through the drunken crowd and up to order our drinks. "Two vodka and cokes please" Nicky asked the man who was serving us.I turned and looked at the crowded dance floor where everybody was grinding and shaking to the music. "Don't worry you'll be fine babe" Nicky said as he handed me my drink "You wanna hit the dance floor?" "Yeah!" i yelled excitedly and pulled him off his feet.As we stared dancing to the beat of the music Nicky pulled me in so close our bodies were touching. "Grind baby!" he yelled with a grin.Just as we started grinding our hips together we were pulled to the side. "Kian? What are you doing here?" Nicky asked "I'm here with Leanne,do you guys know where the guys toilets are?" he asked "Oh yeah we passed them,they're straight through here" Nicky said and grabbed my hand as the three of us pushed past the crowd of people. "There they are here mate" Nicky said to Kian. "There you are ki" Leanne came walking up to him but started to slow down when she saw me "Oh my god NO!" she said with a sadistic smirk "Dionne?" "Hi Leanne.." i said and hugged into Nicky "Kian you remember Dionne,you must remember her face!" Leanne yelled.I didn't know what to do,i hugged into Nicky tighter. "Leanne hunny..i don't think Nicky knows about the.." Kian began "He doesn't know how fucked up she is?!" Leanne laughed "Doesn't know what? Whats going on?!" Nicky demanded "Wipe the make-up off your girl and be horrified of what she really looks like!" "Leanne!" Kian gasped in horror.I burst into tears and ran out of Nickys arms and straight into a taxi.I could here Nicky chasing after me but he was too late. Kian dragged Leanne out the club and apoligized to Nicky who was oblivious to everything that had just happend around him. I went into my house sobbing and my mum who couldn't sleep dived out of bed instantly. "Whats wrong?!" she asked as i threw myself down on the setee. "That girl Leanne who used to tease me...was at the club..an..and she was going on about my face to Nicky" i sobbed "Does he know now?" my mum asked "I duno..didn't stick around long enough to hear anything else" i said "Not being funny Dionne but if he knows then it's all the better..it wasn't gonna stay a secret forever darling" she said "I'm just going to bed mum..i'll end up being sick". I woke up early sunday morning,the first thing i thought about was Nicky,i picked up my mobile and had eight missed calls.I put it back down and decided i wanted to take a long walk down at the flower gardens were Nicky normally took me.Not forgetting to apply the foundation incase i bumped into anyone i knew. The scent of the flowers,the buzzing of the bees,the look of the place was all wonderful,i sat down on the bench and looked at the surroundings around me. "Thought i might find you here" the familar Irish accent said,standing inches away from me. "Kian told me everything,your dad,the crash...the scars" Nicky said "Baby why didn't you tell me?" he asked softly. "I was scared" i told him truthfully "I thought if i told you,you'd go off me" "Come with me" he took my hand and pulled me up.We walked slilently down to the small blue river. "Ok heres what i want you to do" he said "If your comfortable enough around me will you wash the make-up off your face?" I looked at him,i knew i was comfortable with him and loved him but i was still nervous about what he had asked me to do.I nodded my head and kneeled down by the river.Nicky stood a metre behind me.I cupped the water in my hands and splashed my face with the cold water until the foundation came off.I used my cardi that was tied around my waist to dab it dry and stood up with my back to Nicky. "Don't be afraid" he whispered gently.I slowly turned around and faced the guy i loved for the first time without make-up to hide away my scars. "Oh my god.." Nickys eyes widened "Your beautiful" I stood there feeling a bit uncomfortable,i didn't know if Nicky really meant what he said or whether he was saying it to be nice.I swallowed hard and tears stung my eyes as he walked up to me slowly and took my hand in his,kneeling us both back down. "Look at your reflection in the water and tell me what you see" he said.I sighed and looked down into the water that rippled as a leave fell down from a tree. "My scars..thats what i see" i said.He took both my arms and stood me up. "You know what i see?" he asked and brushed his hands down my hair "I see the way your eyes sparkle,your smile dazzle.I see the girl i love" he whispered. "But without my make-up people say.." i began to cry.Nicky lifted my chin with his finger. "What other people say means nothing to me.I love you and i think your absolutely gorgeous" he trailed his finger along the scar on my forehead. "Do they hurt?" he asked "No.." i shook my head and smiled.He swallowed and looked into my eyes before leaning forward and letting our lips touch.The sensations that ran through me drove me wild. "Come on" me whispered and took me out the park. Nicky sat on the bed patiently with a smiled on his face and his arms folded neatly across his bare chest.I came out and done a twirl in the skimpy outfit i was wearing. "Come'ere you!" he grinned and pulled me on the bed next to him.I fell into his arms and he looked down at me. "Your sure?" he asked uncertain.I smiled cheekily at him and nodded then we embraced in a kiss.His hands trailed round my back to unhook my bra which i struggled to get out of with Nicky on top of me.He weaved his fingers through my hair and gently kissed the scars.I held his face at each side and looked into his eyes. "Nicky..i need you to promise me that you'll treat me the way you did before you found out about this" i said "Please..don't treat me like i'm broken".He smiled down "I won't" he said and kissed my lips again as we slowly shrugged out our clothes. "You ready?" he asked.I ran my hands up his arms,pulled him down closer and grinned cheekily at him.Slowly he pushed himself inside me.I cried out a little in pain but told him to keep going.Eventually we reached our climax.I thought it felt amazing but Nicky explained that the first orgasm is normally quite weak but it will get better as time goes on. After a shower and getting dressed i felt good about what just happend,i had made love for the first time and it was with a boy who knows and accepts me for who i am.I looked over at Nicky as he slipped his t-shirt on infront of the mirror and i thought about how lucky i was to be with him.He came over and sat on the bed beside me,his hair was still wet from the shower and water splashed off it onto my face as he shook his head. Eight `o clock the next morning Nicky knocked on my bedroom door.I opened it up and hugged him. "Ready?" he asked with a smile "Yeah...a little worried though" i told him.He wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed me firmly on the lips. "You have nothing to worry about" he said "You look gorgeous. I smiled at him and thought about it and decided i didn't really care what other people thought,Nicky just told me i was gorgeous and thats all that mattered to me deep down inside. Stepping into the classroom hand in hand everyone stopped and stared at us,Nickys mates jaws fell open and i began to feel irritated. "Come on babe" he said and directed me to the two chairs in the corner. "I'm so embarassed" i whispered "No,you have nothing to be embarassed about" Nicky said and sat me down "They're staring at me" i said uncomfortably "Let them" Nicky answered "By the way..the little clasps in your hair look nice in girly" he grinned and twisted a stran around his finger "Also lastnight was fantastic" he winked.I blushed a little and looked at him. "I thought so too" i smiled and fiddled with my rings before the teacher started calling out the register. By the time break came i had a few passing comments off people but with Nicky there for support i took his advice and didn't care. I had left Nicky to go and get a bottle of Irn Bru from the school juice machine.I knew he would be with his mates behind the cafe because thats were his friends had a smoke so i exited out the back door and took a walk around it,as i got closer to the corner i heard guys voices and knew it'd be them.I smiled and walked closer but stopped when i heard my name being mentioned. "Ah leave Nicky alone,he's inlove!" i reconized that straight away as Kians voice. "Tell me you're joking Nicky i mean what are you gonna say if you get married and show your wedding photo's? You gonna tell them you married a girl from the Addams Family?" Shane said.I felt my heart lurch to my throat.Nicky said nothing,any other time he'd defend me but when i'm not there he doesn't?. I stood with my back against the wall for a few seconds thinking,then decided just to take off home.When i walked home in the snow i done a lot of thinking,i was hurt but i didn't blame Nicky to a certain extent,i blamed myself for daring to hope he would be the perfect guy,i should have known it'd be too good to be true.I went to my room and slumped by bag down at my feet and sat on my computer chair. "What are you doing home this early?" my mum asked "Just saw Nicky and his mates taken the piss out me behind the school cafe" i told her "Nicky? Taken the piss? Are you sure about this?" my mum asked,she was very fond of Nicky and couldn't understand what was being said. "Well he didn't say anything but one of his mates did and he said nothing to defend me" i said and swirled my chair to face the mirror. "But it just doesn't sound like him" she said "Oh mum,Nickys not attracted to me,maybe he was when we started going out but..that was different" i said "He's a gorgeous guy who can get a lot better..who can blame him?" i couldn't hold back the tears any longer.I was inlove and had a broken heart. "Why must you doubt yourself like that?" she asked "Your perfect as you are and i'm sure this is just a misunderstanding" my mum said just as my mobile began to ring.I took it out of my school bag and looked at the screen. "It's him" "Answer it" my mum said and we both put our ear to it after i pushed the button. "Hello?" i said "Hi..where are you?" Nicky asked "Oh i'm at home you know...watching the Addams Family" i said sarcastically "The Addams fam...oh no..you heard Shane didn't you?" he asked "Yeah..it was nice of you to defend me" "I know what it must have sounded like..i'm sorry you had to hear it but the reason i said nothing is coz i was shocked my own mate would say something like that to me" he said.I turned and looked at my mum,she smiled and nodded and i smiled back. "So you weren't making fun of me?" i asked "No..i love you" he said softly "I love you too" i said through the receiver "Shouldn't you be in class?" "Open your front door" he said.I ran with the mobile still at my ear and opened it to see Nicky standing with his mobile at his ear. "Erm..i gotta go i have company" i teased through the phone "Have fun" Nicky grinned through his and we both switched our mobiles off. "Hi" i smirked and pulled him inside,i wrapped my arms around his waist and placed my hands on his behind. "Is your mum in?" he asked "Yeah she is" i answered "Your brave standing like this then" he giggled "She certainly is isn't she Nicky" my mum smiled from the stair.Nickys cheeks blushed as he unwrapped my arms quickly from his waist. "We shouldn't be canoodling here" he laughed "Don't mind me,i'm going out with Mr Douglas" she said happily "Again?" i asked "Yeah it's going great" she chirped "Ok have fun!" i said as she left.I locked the door and turned to Nicky who grinned cheekily at me.I grabbed his hand and led him to the bedroom. "How come you're all sweaty?" i asked him "Had football just before break remember?" he smiled "Fancy a shower?" i offered "Yeah..could do with some company" he winked.I switched on the shower hose and ajusted it to the right tempeture then got undressed with Nicky.He stepped in first then helped me in with him.The warm water belted down on us,i watched it trickle down Nickys chest and grabbed my 'Land of Milk And Honey Body wash' and squeezed the yellow liquid onto my hand before rubbing it into his chest making it froth up with the water,i slid my hands over his shoulder blades with the sweet scented liquid,then down his sides.As i slid my hand across his stomach Nicky picked up my 'Frightfully Fruity Shower Gel-ly' and squeezed it out just over my chest.I looked up into his eyes as we both massaged eachother in gorgeous scented liquids.Niether of us had to say a word,the look we were giving eachother said it all.Slowly he leaned in forward and started kissing me.This time it felt different.The first time we were gonna have sex i was over-come with nerves and that was the only t! hing i felt,this time i had a warm tingly feeling in the pit of my stomach,like the feeling i had when my first orgasm was approaching.I kissed him back and wrapped my arms around his neck,not even taken notice of the water trickling on us.Pushing me against the wall i jumped up and wrapped my legs around his waist and he plunged into me easily this time.I took a deep breath and groaned as he built up a stronger rhythm,he kissed down the side of my neck and moaned,feeling the vibrations against my skin drove me crazy,tightening my grip on him i felt strong waves of electricity run straight through my body as Nicky shot his powerful squirts into me.My knees felt weak when he put me down and shoved two of his fingers inside me then taken them out and panting against the wall. "Homemade baby" i said entering the livingroom and placing the Santa,Reindeer,Snowman and Christmas tree shaped biscuits on the table. "Looks good.When did you make them?" Nicky asked "After we came out the shower you lay down and fell asleep so i made Christmas cookies and put icing on them" i said proudly "Try one". As i poured two glasses of milk Nicky picked up a reindeer shaped cookie and bit into it. "They're gorgeous" he said and took another bite. "I've been making them since i was a kid with my mum,i used to make them on Christmas eve for Santa" i blushed "Really? I always left Santa a mince pie" Nicky admitted without caring "A carrot for the reindeers?" i asked "Always" he grinned "Me too" i laughed and turned back to the tree.I put all the nice decorations to the front and the older ones to the back.Nicky stood on a chair to hang stars to the ceiling along with all the other things. Half an hour later we were finished.I sat down and grabbed a biscuit,drinking the remaining of the milk that was left,i looked at Nicky who'd done a great job of everything. "You're comming with me and my mum to party at my gran and gradads on Christmas day right?" i asked him "Sure..who's all gonna be there?" he asked "everybody..gran and grandad,aunties,uncles,cousins,second cousins the lot,we have a huge family but most are young,a lot of my cousins are teenagers and most of my aunties and uncles are in their twentys and they're great party people.Christmas crackers,great food,blasting music and plenty of drink" i grinned "Not forgetting mistletoe" "Sounds excellent!" he said "BUT you'll have to get up and do crazy dances to music like the hokey cokey,the conga,the birdy song,agadoo,superman and the music man at some point" i warned him "Do you do those dances?" he asked "Yeah i think it's a laugh,everyone looks stupid" i giggled "Well if you get up i will" he kissed me and we looked back at the Christmas decorations. When Christmas eve arrived i was thankful,all my shopping was done and all the presents were wrapped up.It was snowing heavily outside,just as i'd hoped for,Christmas would never be the same without snow.My mum was out doing some last minute late night shopping and i was in alone.I switched on the tree lights and put on a Christmas cd,the first song played was Mistletoe and Wine.The house felt warm and peaceful.Suddenly there was a noise that came from the door but i ignored it and thought it was my imagination,but then it happend again.I walked up and opened it,no-one was there,i stepped outside and screamed when a snowball hit my head and i fell to the snow with Nickys arms wrapped around me.Niether him or i could stop laughing. "Oh my god you scared me!" i laughed "What are you doing here?!" "I'm here to see my lil snow bunny of course!" he chirped.He grabbed my hand and pulled me up. "Look,you've made the shape of an angel in the snow!" he said excitedly.Snowflakes fell on us rapidly and Nicky started running around the place making patterns with his footprints. "Lets go for a walk" he said and grabbed my hand.It was eight `o clock at night and dark but i decided to go along with him even though there was really no-where to go. "You like chestnuts?" Nicky asked as the smell of them grew closer from the little cabin selling them. "Never tried them" i shrugged "Theres an eating place open,lets go in and get something" he said. The place was beautifully decorated inside,with Christmas music playing in the background. Nicky looked around the food. "Hey do you fancy splitting that big chocolate gateuo?" he asked "Yeah suits me fine" i smiled and stepped up to the counter with him.The man who was serving suddenly had a big grin on his face.I looked at Nicky,who looked unsure if he was laughing at my scars or something else. "What?" Nicky asked and took my hand in his. "You two are under the mistletoe" the man said in a teasing voice,Nicky and i both looked up to see it dangling over our heads.A cheer arupted from the people who were eating in with there loved ones,i looked at Nicky and grinned. "Go on give her a Christmas snog" the man said "I bet she'd love that wouldn't you?" i nodded my head and turned to Nicky who then gave me a sweet lingering kiss.He broke away and smirked at me as the people clapped at their tables.The waiter laughed and shook his head. "Now what can i get you?" he asked over the counter "The chocolate gateuo and a chocolate milkshake with...two straws" Nicky said and hugged me into him. "Ok..take your seats and i'll be right over" the waiter smiled pleasently We sat down at a table near the window where the snow was falling outside. "I thought he was laughing at my scars at first" i said to Nicky "Me too..but theres nothing to laugh at..you don't worry about a thing ok?" he smiled and turned around as the cake and shake was put down to us. "There you go a chocolate gateuo and two forks along with a large chocolate milkshake and two straws" the waiter smiled "Enjoy". "What are you looking at?" i giggled when we were half way through our cake.Nicky wouldn't take his eyes off me. "I've never seen you look more beautiful" he said.I looked down at my slinky sky blue dress and smiled. "I like to dress up nice on Christmas eve" i said.He smiled and took my hand in his "I'm madly inlove with you" he said.I could feel my heart flutter at his words. Christmas morning came and i woke up early as usual,Christmas was my favourite time of the year and after a lovely Christmas Eve with Nicky i couldn't be happier.Mum was always a really hearty woman and i always got loads off her at Christmas and this year wasn't any different.It took me over an hour to get through my presents from her and she loved the gifts i bought her too.At nine `o clock i got a text message from Nicky. Everyone exchanged more gifts and when that was over my gran and mum started putting party food on the big table as my auntie started playing cd's. "Do you like Eminem Dionne?" she asked "No not that much" i answered and helped out in the kitchen,my auntie went through the mixed disc and played I've Come Undone by Robbie Williams. It was becomming a great night after all the hastle was sorted out with the food.The phone went at half past five. "Dionne it's for you!" Mandy shouted from across the room.I ran over and took the phone off her. "Hello?" "Hi it's me babe,i'm on my way over ok?" he said "Ok bye" "Thats him on his way now" i told my mum and got back to dancing to the macerina. Fifteen minutes later i saw Nicky running down the path. "Merry Christmas!" i said and kissed him when i opened the door. "Merry Christmas babes" he smiled and walked into the crowded livingroom of people who were all eager to meet him. "You ok?" i asked him "Fine,everybody has been lovely" he said and began eating his meal.Naturally everyone was stuffed afterwards but it didn't stop the music from going back on again. "Dionne..will you marry me?" he asked. "Oh my god!" i gasped and looked him in amazement "Yes!" i yelled and my family all started congratulating us as he slipped the ring on my finger. "Did you know?!" i said to my mum,still not believing what was happening. "Of course i bloody knew!" she laughed and hugged me.I walked over and kissed Nicky on the lips.
