So Much For The Pentagon started out in 1996 when Luke and Chris started jamming in Luke's bedroom on less than adequate guitars. They spent about a year looking for a drummer to complete the band. During this time they were joined by their friend Nick. After about a month with the band Nick was on to different things. Soon after they were joined by Luke's cousin Jesse on the drums. Jesse was currently in a few other bands that eventually went to the wayside. These three soon became what was known as So Much For The Pentagon. The name comes from Luke's paranoia with the government and was first used late one night at the local Perkins. They then played for another year without a singer. Jessie and Chris talked Luke into singing and they were finally a complete band. Nick rejoined the band for a short period of time before they played there first show. They then went through three more lead guitarist each not working out for pretty much the same reasons and now they are back to the original three. Due to the circumstances of September 11 So Much have given up there original name out of respect and are now known as If So Inclined... |
