16. John Daw⁴ RICHARDS (Ann³ DAWE, Elizabeth² NICKELLS, John¹) was born in Tavistock, Devon, England 1831. John died 23 May 1885 in Portarlington Victoria Australia, at 53 years of age. His body was interred 25 May 1885 in Portarlington Cemetery.

He married three times. He married Margaret Arthur EDDY in Creswick Creek Victoria Australia, 31 July 1854. Margaret was the daughter of Matthew EDDY and Alice ARTHUR. Margaret died 1860 no. 11 37 in Kooringa, South Australia. She was baptized in Bible Christian Breage Cornwall, 17 June 1827. Religion: religion unknown. He married Elizabeth RODDA in Kooringa, South Australia, 13 March 1860. Elizabeth was born in Carnyorth St Just Cornwall Eng 19 August 1838. Elizabeth was the daughter of Christopher RODDA and Elizabeth TREZISE. Elizabeth died 12 June 1874 in Ballarat Victoria Aus, at 35 years of age. Her body was interred 14 June 1874 in Ballarat New Cemetery. She was baptized in St Just in Penwith Cornwall England, 16 September 1838. Religion: religion unknown. He married Mary Ann MURRAY in Hill St Richmond Victoria Australia, 11 August 1875. Mary was born in Paisley Scotland circa 1837. Mary was the daughter of Thomas MURRAY and Christina McGREGOR.

He was baptized in St Eustachius Tavistock Devon Eng, 16 November 1831. Religion: religion unknown.

28 vii. Zipporah RICHARDS was born in Kooringa, South Australia 11 May 1867. Zipporah died 1867 no.27 266 in Kooringa, South Australia, at less than one year of age.

29 viii. Charles RICHARDS was born in Ballarat West Victoria Australia 31 March 1870.

30 ix. Benjamin Rodda RICHARDS was born in Ballarat Victoria Aus 25 September 1873.
