13. William⁴ PORTER (William "Hawthorne Villa"³, John², John¹) was born in Carrickfergus, Nth Irl 21 August 1835. William died 9 August 1906 in "Bay View" Greenisland, Antrim, Irl., at 70 years of age.

He married Elizabeth (Eliza) Jane JOHNSTONE in Carrickfergus, Nth Irl, 18 July 1854. Elizabeth was born in Carrickfergus, Nth Irl 26 August 1835. Elizabeth was the daughter of Thomas ("Whinfield" and "Glenfield") JOHNSTONE and Eleanor GLENFIELD. Elizabeth died 22 October 1906 in Carrickfergus, Nth Irl, at 71 years of age. She was christened in Carrickfergus, Nth Irl, 11 October 1835.

He witnessed Thomas ("Whinfield" and "Glenfield") JOHNSTONE's death in Carrickfergus, Nth Irl, 13 October 1872.

William PORTER and Elizabeth (Eliza) Jane JOHNSTONE had the following children:

18 v. Eleanor Christina PORTER was born in Carrickfergus, Nth Irl 30 April 1859. Eleanor died 30 June 1860 in Carrickfergus, Nth Irl, at 1 year of age. She was christened in Carrickfergus, Nth Irl, 29 May 1859.

+ 19 vi. John PORTER was born 5 August 1860.

20 vii. Ann PORTER was born in Carrickfergus, Nth Irl 21 August 1862. Ann died 14 February 1940 at 77 years of age. She married Joseph Henry IREDALE 1889. Joseph was born 1859. Joseph was the son of Peter IREDALE and Betty ARCHER. Joseph died 27 March 1948 at 89 years of age. He was christened in Bridekirk, Cumberland, Eng., 6 March 1859.

She was christened in Carrickfergus, Nth Irl, 12 October 1862.

21 viii. Alexander Fiskin PORTER was born in Carrickfergus, Nth Irl 12 January 1864. Alexander died 17 September 1936 at 72 years of age. He married Elizabeth ASHTON 1893.

22 ix. Ellenor Christina PORTER was born in Carrickfergus, Nth Irl 5 September 1865. Ellenor died 28 July 1947 at 81 years of age. She married William MCMEEKIN in Carrickfergus, Nth Irl, 9 June 1885. William was the son of Thomas MCMEEKIN.

23 x. Elizabeth (Eliza and Lizzie) Jane PORTER was born in Carrickfergus, Nth Irl 22 March 1867. Elizabeth died 29 November 1931 at 64 years of age. She married Henry MCNEILL 1896. Henry died before 23 October 1902.

24 xi. Margaret Johnstone Fiskin PORTER was born in Carrickfergus, Nth Irl 17 February 1869. Margaret died 29 April 1870 in Carrickfergus, Nth Irl, at 1 year of age.

25 xii. Francis (Frank) Johnstone PORTER was born in Carrickfergus, Nth Irl 16 July 1873. Francis died 4 April 1927 at 53 years of age. He married Lilian Cole BARTLEY in Westminster, London, Eng., 29 January 1902. Lilian was the daughter of George Christopher Trout BARTLEY and Mary Charlotte ??. She was christened in Ealing, Mdx, Eng., 25 February 1867.

26 xiii. Female PORTER was born in Carrickfergus, Nth Irl 28 December 1874. Female died young in Carrickfergus, Nth Irl.

27 xiv. Herdman PORTER was born 26 October 1875. Herdman died 4 June 1950 at 74 years of age. He married Mabel GOYDER 1905.
