62. James⁶ BALMAIN (Elizabeth⁵ SELLWOOD, Mark⁴, Hester (Esther)³ WHEELER, Robert², John¹) was born in Ballarat Victoria Aus 23 March 1865. James died 19 January 1914 in Ballarat Victoria Aus, at 48 years of age.

He married Elizabeth Rebecca HOMEWOOD in Ballarat Victoria Aus, 18 April 1889. Elizabeth was born in Williamstown, Vic, Aus. 3 July 1863.⁽⁶⁶⁾ Elizabeth was the daughter of Charles HOMEWOOD and Jane HASWELL. Elizabeth died 24 June 1955 in Williamstown, Vic, Aus., at 91 years of age.

James BALMAIN and Elizabeth Rebecca HOMEWOOD had the following children:

+ 75 i. Jessie Elizabeth⁷ BALMAIN was born 5 March 1890.

76 ii. Elsie Jane BALMAIN was born in Ballarat, Vic, Aus. 30 June 1892. Elsie died 5 November 1966 at 74 years of age.

77 iii. John Homewood BALMAIN was born in Ballarat, Vic, Aus. 27 August 1895. John died 22 November 1971 in Ballarat, Vic, Aus., at 76 years of age. He married Lillian WILSON in Ballarat East, Vic, Aus., 19 April 1919. Lillian was the daughter of Frank WILSON and Martha ELLIS. Lillian died 2 November 1974 in Ballarat, Vic, Aus.. She was cremated in Ballarat, Vic, Aus., 5 November 1974.

He was cremated in Ballarat, Vic, Aus., 23 November 1971.

78 iv. Rhoda Rebecca BALMAIN was born in Ballarat, Vic, Aus. 1901 no. 24199.
