Main
theme of the Conference is “Geographical Study of Central Asia and
Mongolia”.
Session I. Physical Geography.
(Landscape research, Geomorphology and
Hydro-geomorphology, GIS, Paleo-geography, Soil geography, Lake research,
Permafrost, Glaciology, Bio-geography, Desertification, Climate change,
Environment protection and Ecology etc.)
Session II. Human Geography. (Nomadic
Pastoralism study, Regional development study, Toponomica, Historical
geography, Gartography, Land use and management, Eco-tourism and
Educational geography etc.)
LANGUAGE
Official
languages of the Conference are English and Mongolian.
PUBLICATIONS
Abstract
Volume of all papers and field trip guidebook will be provided in English.

Authors are invited to submit extended
abstracts of papers on the above themes of the Conference preferably by
e-mail attachment file, readable by Microsoft Word:

sessions, abstract volume, coffee breaks, reception, banquet and social
program.

Registration Fee for the Pre-Conference 3 day fieldtrip
cover: transportation (bus), accommodation during the fieldtrip, food
(breakfast, lunch and dinner) and fieldtrip guidebook.

SOCIAL PROGRAM
Visiting Mongolian national concert at the theater
and some museums (Natural History Museum, Mongolian National History
Museum, Bogd-Khan‘s Palace Museum and Gandan-khiid Monastery) will be
arranged for all registered Conference participants. Special additional
social program during the Conference can be organized for registered
accompanying persons.

valid passport or other internationally recognized travel documents are
required. Participants will receive an official invitation letter for a
visa application after their registration forms are received. Visitors
