MY SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY GUIDELINES

The Filipino author is currently an MIS Manager in a multi-national company in the Philippines. He had worked
as a Programmer, Systems Analyst, Data Processing Manager, and MIS Manager in a number of local and multi-national
companies in Manila. His experience covered full system development life cycle, network planning and administration,
database administration, documentation of operations manual, preparation of systems-related reports like systems survey,
systems/functional design report, systems development strategy report, and back-up and disaster recovery plans. He has
worked as a systems person in a government trading corporation, economic and market research companies, retail and wholesale
company, entertainment group, and a cargo forwarding firm. Likewise, he had a very short stint as a part-time instructor in systems
analsysis and design, data communications, and management information system in one of the computer schools in Manila.
