Project For A New American Century
AKA: PNAC
The PNAC and its members have long called for the United States to abandon the ABM Treaty. The PNAC also proposes to control the new "international commons" of space and "cyberspace" and pave the way for the creation of a new military service—U.S. Space Forces—with the mission of space control. In 1998, Donald Rumsfeld chaired a bipartisan commission on the US Ballistic Missile Threat towards advancement of these goals.
After the first "election" of George W. Bush, many of the PNAC's members were appointed to key positions within the new President's administration
One visit to their website and you will find the blueprint for the hideous foreign policy the bush administration has unleashed upon the world in the US taxpayers name. PNAC proudly touts it's globalization agenda, stating that their strategy will allow for American elite world domination. Planning for the Iraq invasion well before George dubya Bush was selected in 2000. In fact the people who are the PNAC had sent several letters to president Clinton and congress trying to push them to move forward w/PNAC planning. One of the documents you will find on PNAC's site is dated Sept. 2000, called "Rebuilding Americas Defenses" (pdf) . It's packed full of some very disturbing suggestions and policies... the most infamous is the part about needing a "catastrophic and catalyzing event -like a new Pearl Harbor" (yes this was written pre911) to speed up the process for transforming America's defense policies and the military to meet their global domination agenda. Be sure to check out the signature page... to see whose fingerprints are all over this shit. Hmm sure shines a light on why George W. Bush says Osama Bin Laden is not a priority.
