I was going through my collection of Buddha’s last night dusting them off.  No, I’m not a Buddhist Monk posing as a Grandpa Chuck.  I am a collector of little Buddha’s.  Not just any Buddha either, only the ones that look like Monks!

Perhaps your asking, "Why collect Buddha’s that look like Monks?  Why not collect Monks instead?".  Well, because there are not a lot of Monks around but there are lots and lots of Buddha’s.  When people ask me, "Why do you collect Buddha's?".  I always reply, "To remind me of the meditative life."  Believe me they don't ask twice.

As I was dusting off the collection I started to think of all the things I’ve collected over the years.   I once collected matchbooks covers, stamps, and even rocks to name a few of my early collections.

I also got to thinking of collections I’ve had that was not intentional such as my collection of old CB Radios and Computers I had stacked up in the basement.

My mother collects Salt and Pepper Shakers.  My sister collects Christmas ornaments.  My brother in law collects vintage cars.  Ellen, a friend of mine, collects Precious Moments.  Just about everyone I know collects something.
